MSNBC’s Ed Schultz‘s The Ed Show beat out Anderson Cooper’s AC360 in the demo and total viewers on Tuesday night. In demo viewers, Schultz racked up 179,000 viewers to Cooper’s 169,000. The margin was even further when you took in account total viewers, where The Ed Show garnered an impressive 965,000 viewers to AC360‘s 557,000. It wasn’t all bad news for Cooper, the CNN anchor improved considerably from the week before, when he had trailed Schultz by over 100,000 demo viewers.

On CNN Wednesday night, Erin Burnett‘s OutFront fell below 100,000 viewers in the demo Wednesday, by far the lowest ratings among the four cable news networks. She placed 4th in demo and total viewers for both her 7 and 11pm time slots.

On Tuesday, MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show bested both CNN’s Piers Morgan and HLN’s Drew Pinsky in combined demo ratings and total viewership. Maddow scored an impressive 221,000 demo viewers, more than any other MSNBC show on Tuesday night.

On Monday night, HLN’s Nancy Grace edged out CNN’s Anderson Cooper at 8 p.m. — in demo, but not total viewers. Keeping with the pattern, Fox’s Bill O’Reilly topped the time slot. He also took the top spot in Fox’s primetime lineup.

Fox News’ The Five topped all of their competition combined on Friday in both demo and total viewership. Scoring 352,000 in the demo and 1,639,000 in total viewing audience, the powerhouse quintet of Eric Bolling, Greg Gutfeld, Andrea Tantaros, Bob Beckel and Dana Perino dominated their 5pm timeslot for yet another night.
