Dan Abrams,

I used to watch the Verdict. I enjoyed the show. I was scouring through Twitter and found out that this website launched yesterday. Since you are attached to Mediaite.com, I decided to scope it out; I'm happy to say, I like what I see. Kudos.

Dan, I appreciate someone trying something new and you have a solid reputation. Since you have this forum going, use it to flush out the deliberate distortions of the media giants. When did deliberately distorting the truth become the norm as on faux and cnn? Yes, they have a selective and devoted audience of 21% of hard line christofascist viewers, but why do the rest of the news organizations act so ignorantly to these blatant distortions? Is there some kind of reporters code that whatever is said by another news outlet cannot be questioned? What happened to the integrity of the press and news reporters? Is every one so beholding to the corporate heads they are not allowed to buck the lies? Where would Watergate be today if it happened? Would there be a Woodstein? I would like to see a separate forum dedicated to this discussion rather than getting sound bites and flashy headlines. Did the media hound Palin out? Or did she make herself a target by her behavior during the campaign and after? I want to know if people who are in charge of our governments, spending my tax dollars are acting within the scope of their duties. What is the difference between a governor who serves their full four year term and a governor who quits after two years? LIPSTICK

As a former Gannett ad rep ( who quit ), this is a great site to follow the media and to reconnect with old colleagues and new ones. The evaporating newspaper industry leaves many out of touch with the new turn of the industry. Good Luck, Dan. I will be back and recommend this site to my former colleagues.
