I love the new feature I actually just made a twitter account yesterday and its worth it. Good for your business and for any other things you would want people to catch up on. If they are following you cool and congrats to twitter.

I plan to monetize Twitter with the "Super Secret Exclusive List of People Who Could Afford to Spend One-Thousand Dollars to be on My List and Don't Mind Bragging About It" list.

Someone commented to me last night that they were going to make a "shit list," and I thought, boy, I should make a "people that spam me" list. There are all sorts of postitive and negative possibilities.

I thought the exact same thing when I first showed up on a list. Then I became deathly afraid of what other lists I might show up on: "ArchieBunkerFashionistas," "DontStandNextToOnMetro," etc.

After the depression subsided I started thinking that we may be seeing the beginning of monetizing Twitter. Want to hawk your sweet new camera? Now you've got easy access to ready-made networks of photography buffs all over the place. Opening a new restaurant in DC? It couldn't be easier to find all the foodies in town. It is a direct marketers dream, but likely also a spammers. We'll see how Twitter deals with it.

Until then, I'm going to go try and talk myself onto a few more big shots' lists.
