Accounting Nightmares would be the worst Gordon Ramsay show ever, but a lawsuit filed against him in a Manhattan court would be as much of a headache for him as a normal episode of Kitchen Nightmares, and almost as annoying as Jamie Oliver. Marks Paneth & Shore claim that Ramsay’s company owes theirs over $75,000.
Since 2009, the New York Post reports, Gordon Ramsay Holdings have not made good on payments for accounting, financial services and consultation: three invoices, “for $14,000 in July 2010, $35,000 in May 2011 and $25,000 in October 2011,” were received by the Ramsay camp, according to the suit, but never repaid.
A spokesman for Ramsay did that thing that most people do whenever they have unpaid bills: claim that she was unaware of the lawsuit.
This is an excellent reminder for all of us to file taxes before April 15th, which is next Monday.
