After a jilted start, the Esquire Network has successfully launched, which means that the September 24th premiere date for Ilan Hall’s new series Knife Fight is sticking, which means that some adorable, bespectacled chef energy is coming to your DVR tonight.
The cook-off-gone-grunge features two chefs battling it out in a quick and dirty half-hour competition to see who can make the best dish. It takes place in a cramped, open restaurant kitchen, complete with hecklers, bad lighting, sound quality that you wouldn’t mistake for studio-produced if you were slammered, and — best part! — no prizes.
Did we mention that Drew Barrymore is the executive producer?
Tune into tonight’s Knife Fight at 9pm ET/PT on Esquire Network (formerly Style Network), and check out a sneak peek below.
