CBS: Meatball Shop owner and glasses wearer Daniel Holzman stopped by The Dish to whip up some meatball goodness, talk Thanksgiving, and act humble about his past. (We didn’t know he started at Le Bernardin at age 13!) Why we love him: he’s real-life besties with his Meatball Shop business partner, Michael Chernow (which we’re sure is hard), he can’t even choose his favorite between his meatballs, treating it like it’s Sophie’s Choice, and he can make a mean Pimm’s Cup.
NBC Latino: And so many reasons to love José Andrés, too. In a new interview, Andrés talks about why he’s championed the fight against childhood hunger. “I believe that food is our most important resource. Next to breathing, eating is the one thing we need to survive. Food touches so many parts of our lives…health, education, security, culture, politics, and business,” he says.
Food Navigator: And speaking of hunger, the UN is now pushing for food to be recognized as an undeniable human right.
Chicagoist: The Aviary’s ticketing idea is a smashing success.
TV By the Numbers: Expect to see a lot more of Curtis Stone on The Chew; he’s been named “an official regular guest co-host.”
