We still can’t tell why it is we love PBS shows so much (trust us, we’ve tried to puzzle it out), but watching this trailer of A Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking just makes us so…happy. So peaceful. We cannot say a bad thing about it (and we know that we’re known for saying bad things).
Perhaps this series, featuring Jacques Pepin, Marcus Samuelsson, Anita Lo, Larry and Marc Forgione, Jonathan Waxman, Andy Ricker, Jeffrey Saad, and others, is a sign pointing towards the true path of enlightenment. Perhaps host Pete Evans is some sort of modern-day culinary Buddha, whose teachings and travels will lead us to a better understanding of happiness — not through screaming chefs and mystery baskets and dramatic feuds, but through, say, eating on a beach as the tide comes in.
We’re so happy. We’re so happy.
A Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking will air on PBS starting on September 7th.
