Ruth Reichl joined HuffPost Live today to talk about her new novel Delicious (which was recently slammed by her former home The New York Times), and as she spoke about modern, 20-something women in food publishing, our frigid, Gen-Y hearts melted:
“They were so passionate, so different from my generation. They were hardworking. They were optimistic.”
She also calls food magazines “the most generous places to work” on account of how nurturing food people are. That part is true. We certainly never forced our interns into anything embarrassing. Check out her interview below.
