Here at The Braiser, we’re big fans of girls who excel at playing with the boys. So we’re totally stoked that Christina Tosi is the lone lady chef in an all-male lineup for Esquire Magazine’s upcoming three-day food-centric fundraiser The Esquire.
Christina, along with Tom Colicchio, Michael Symon, Michael White, Jonathan Benno, Linton Hopkins, Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and more, will be on hand to celebrate “man at his best.” In the chefs’ case, this means teaching them how to be remotely useful in the kitchen, also known as “the new man cave.”
The event takes place at the Bowery Hotel and extends from December 1st to December 3rd, but on the final day, at 6:30pm, The chefs will conduct master classes with attendees.
Tickets, which range from $35-$275 are available here, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. We advise you to pay attention to Christina’s demo, gentlemen. Baking isn’t the easiest, but we suspect that knowing how to make compost cookies from scratch might come in handy with a lady or two.
