Who knew that designer Zac Posen’s go-to meal involved fresh sea urchin? Who does that? For a special occasion, we could see that, but in this video with Eric Ripert’s webseries On The Table, the high-powered fashion designer casually throws together a complex dish of uni, eight-treasure rice, tofu, kabocha, shiso, lotus root, ginger, and orange juice with the effort equivalent to heating up a Hot Pocket in the microwave.
Of course, the two artists have a fascinating conversation about creativity and such, but they do it over such an absurdly well-executed meal that we can’t help but gnaw on this lukewarm Hot Pocket in jealousy.
