I’ll bet we would have 10% unemployment, nothing but future deficits as far as the eye could see, no change in the way America is perceived around the world, tens of thousands of additional soldiers being sent to Afghanistan, a dollar sinking like an anvil, at least one domestic terror attack, and a Vice President who sounds like a fool with every sentence spoken.

Good thing Obama and Biden are in charge. WHEW!

What a joke! This sniveling, smarmy, old, adulterer is afraid of this two bit, know nothing hillbilly pageant queen? She’s thrown him under the bus via the campaign staff that he selected. I’m sure they’re not thrilled with his lack of defense of them. It’s great that she has the entire party kissing her ass and afraid to point out the obvious. Which is that she’s still unqualified to be President. She’s undereducated, ignorant and has a regional accent that rivals nails on a chalkboard. I suspect that foreign dignataries would have a tough time understanding anything she says. They’re not alone. Personally, I hope she does run in 2012. She will motivate all of us on the left. Which is why the GOP doesn’t want her to run but, doesn’t have the courage to come out and say it.

I have questioned my own sanity because I would have voted for McCain in 2000. He has ‘changed” so much I do not recognize him. Either that or I was really blind in 2000. Can anyone imagine what trouble we would be in today had McCain/Palin actually made it to the White House. I saw his crazy act on C-Span on Saturday. I realize this blog has many Obama haters. You haters need to consider how lucky you are that the dynamic duo didn’t make it.

Fox News groupee? How about MSNBC and Headline news? Both have surpassed CNN in primetime ratings, and Fox beats them all combined.

“Because Journalism Mattters” is an empty phrase. When news breaks (Obama holds a prime time address, the Fort Hood shootings, etc.) where do most cable viewers turn to see what is actually happening? They go to Fox.

When nothing is happening, and people just want to watch the talking heads, where do they go? Fox, then MSNBC, then Headline News, and then CNN.

CNN is a network living in a bubble if they think anyone believes their claim to be No. 1.

This is not about Fox having clobbered CNN, that’s old news. This about CNN trying to defuse the notion that the younger news networks have left grandpa out in the cold.

Mediaite, I’m sure you’re proud of yourself for landing CNN as a sponsor, but are you so desperate for money you will allow your advertisers to lie? You have a major credibility gap as a critical media watchdog when you don’t challenge CNN’s claim to be #1.

So, how much are your rates? I would like to buy a home page ad on Mediaite claiming I am the handsomest man alive. Of course, that’s a total crock, but as long as my check clears, you won’t stop me, right?

Time for the people running this web site to prove to prove they have professional standards.

How sad – first McCain embraced Bush and his failed legacy in a desperate attempt to get elected in 2008. Now he embraces Palin and all her many, many, blemishes and flaws, even after her attracks upon him. Has he no pride or integrity remaining, as hard won as his reputation was? McCain’s decline has been precipitous and rapid. Twizzle, twazzle, twuzzle tome – time for this one (McCain) to go home.

The saddest aspect of McCain is he tried to negotiate with the devils on the other side and you see where it got him. Now the other side is holding closed door meetings and preventing middle of the roaders like McCain to participate. If he hasn’t smarted up by now and can’t see how destructive the demoncratic has become then he has no business being a US Senator let alone a Republican one. I use to like him but now can’t stand him. You can’t be a sell-out in order to be liked by the other side including the lamestream media. In the end they’ll cast you off the boat and let you fend for yourself in deep waters.
