“Right wingers always yell about how Democrats are socialist and want to destroy America.” I have 2 responses to this. The first is the rather sophomoric (but nonetheless valid) argument of “So? Left wingers always yell about how Republicans are fascists and want to destroy America” (which you actually kinda sorta do in your next sentence). Second, we pretty much HAVE to yell–what with the left essentially OWNING the media (NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, PBS, BET, Comedy Channel, NPR, Time-Warner, Gannett, etc., etc., etc.), our only choice IS to yell, just to be heard above all the noise.

“Yet they get mad when we call them Fascists.” See above. Also see my first post, where it appeared that you agreed with me that Obama IS a fascist. Nonetheless, fascism can actually be defined loosely as “state control of private enterprise”, or, as Mussolini preferred, “Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” It is actually more of a LEFT-wing concept than a right–remember, we’re the ones who DON’T trust the government. And Obama sure DOES like those auto companies and those banks. So if we get mad, it’s probably just because you mislabelled us.

“They don’t debate the point at all but rather yell about Keith Olbermann.” A). There is no point to debate–see above. Today’s left wingers have both socialistic AND fascistic tendencies. B). I RARELY see posts about Keith Olbermann, although the web is LITTERED with derogatory posts about Hannity, LImbaugh, and Beck. After all, look at YOUR post.

“Right wingers love to yell about freedom, justice and truth without really knowing what they are saying.” Why yes, we DO love to yell about freedom, justice and truth. We just wish YOU would love it, too. Don’t know what you mean about not knowing what we’re saying–despite what you left wingers think, they’re actually fairly simple concepts.

“What freedom have you lost exactly? ” None YET. But in the not too distant future, I stand a VERY GOOD chance of losing my ability to choose my own health insurance, not to mention my own doctor, and I will lose the ability to decide (between my doctor and me) what my plan of care will be. And I’ll have the pleasure of paying out the A$$ for that loss of freedom. I will lose a lot of my freedom when the government confiscates more and more of my salary to pay for bloated and corrupt government programs. I will lose even MORE freedom if Copenhagen and Cap And Trade get passed–not just monetarily, but limits will be put on ALL of us re: travel, purchasing of various consumer goods, etc.

“Did your freedom go up or down during Republican rule?” Let me guess–Patriot Act, right? (Which Obama is essentially keeping intact, by the way.) Well, my freedoms stayed just about the same. And unless you were a terrorist or were colluding with terrorists, your freedom would have remained the same too, leftist propaganda notwithstanding.

“Justice and Truth? You think Republicans and the Australian Rupert Murdoch are going to give your that?” Actually, I don’t trust ANYONE to giveme justice and truth, especially politicians (remember that “not trusting the government” thing?). But I sure as hell trust Republicans and Rupert Murdoch more than I trust the Democrats and George Soros.

Is that so impossible to comprehend?” Not so hard to comprehend–it’s just that I have never seen a single SHRED of evidence to support this oft-repeated claim. And you dare accuse them of fear-mongering and divisiveness? Have you ever even HEARD Obama, Pelosi, or Reid say ANYTHING? If they’re not trying to scare us to death, they’re ACTIVELY trying to turn people against each other–rich vs. poor, black vs. white, doctor vs. patient, old vs. young, male vs. female–you name it.

“Or could it be TRUTH you see dearly seek?” Why, yes, it is. You ought to try it sometime!!

Hmmm–that last sentence sounds an AWFUL lot like Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al., doesn’t it? Let’s use the news media, as well as our bully pulpit, to grossly exaggerate, distort facts, and outright lie about the state of health care provision in this country so we can–guess what?–get more money and more power. Let’s shut down any discussion, scientific and otherwise, that raises legitimate questions about AGW–let’s say “the science is settled” while we tell apocolyptic tales of what will happen if the brave, uber-smart politicians can’t get in there and save us at the last minute. Why? Oh yeah–so we can get more power and more money. Let’s exaggerate about the economic situation so we can go in and take over theauto industry and get our foot (substantially) in the door of the banking industry (a VERY fascist thing to do, I think you would agree–oh wait–I know you won’t). And why do these things? Oh yeah–to get more power and more money. And as an added bonus, we can quadruple our debt and thus prepare the way for an avalanche of new taxes on the American public. And why? Oh yeah–more power and more money!

At least as a left-winger you have admitted what many of us have been saying for months–Obama is a fascist!!

Right wingers say “Government is corrupt!” Yet they never ask who is corrupting our government? Where is the money coming from and why?

Right wingers like to complain that the media is unfair to the likes of Sarah Palin for pointing out her lack of depth and education, for making fun of her family, etc. Yet they never object when Hannity refers to websites like WND.com who regularly question the very Americanism of Obama. They question his religion and pass around emails depicting watermelons on the white house lawn and Michelle Obama as a Guerilla. Not a thing to say about that.

Right wingers have NOTHING TO SAY about 8 years of Bush and 12 years of Republicanism, as if it has NOTHING TO DO with today. No, forget about that, the answer is that Obama has destroyed the country! Let’s give the power back to Republicans!

Right wingers salivate over Reagen. Trickle down! Trickle down! Still think that works? Really? Oh, I guess Sean Hannity said so, it must be true!

Right wingers LOVE to describe themselves as defenders of free market capitalism. But they never acknowledge that ANY system in it’s extreme form can become dangerous whereby a few private citizens through corporations can control the”free” market, corrupt our political systems and directly impact our daily lives. At least we can vote out politicians. WE THE PEOPLE are sitting ducks to bloated, powerful, unaccountable corporate thugs.

Right wingers think that the Hannity, Beck and Limbaugh are telling the truth. Do they ever question these people? Do they know who they work for and how much they are being paid? Or are they just simply not interested in discovering lies and hypocrisy as their pupils blacken with hate and rage in response to the carefully constructed narratives being downloaded 24/7 into their softened brains.

Teabagger American Fascism continues to be virulent. But your numbers are dwindling as purify yourselves in a bath of homogeneous rhetoric uttered by the likes of a Beauty Queen and a Recovering Alcoholic.

I wish you much sucess! Taking on the MSM is a daunting task, I know because I haver been trying the same thing on my site (regarding economic conditions) but I get attacked for going against the MSM, too many people have already been ‘programmed’ I guess.

At times I feel that the people of the USA are simply being programmed (indirectly) into what to buy, what to think, and to feel good about the Government in spite of the yet still growing economic calamity facing the nation. Once again Andrew, good work and best of future sucess to you.

While doing that, show me how the Christian religion has been attacked unfairly despite majority share they hold and the thousands of years of complete bigotry they have pushed themselves. It also amazes me that anyone with a home, a car, clothes, and food would criticize capitalism. Great point… I wish more people lived by the “if you didn’t complain about the things important to ME under Bush, you shouldn’t be allowed to say ANYTHING now!” Of course, you should also remember that for this to work, it should only be applied to folks on the right. If we start applying it to EVERYONE… well, then a lot of people (Keith “I was against FISA before I was for it” Olbermann) wouldn’t be talking.

Oh, and thanks for pointing out the “racism” angle too. I was worried someone wouldn’t figure out how to apply race to this non-racial story.
