I know this post is old news but I can’t believe not a single person here watched Comedy Central’s Friars Roast of Bob Sagat.

This whole thing isn’t some some accusation or “coordinated attack”, it’s a JOKE. It’s not even an original JOKE. Gilbert Gottfried said about 50 times “Bob Sagat raped and murdered a girl in 1990″. They didn’t even change the year. They even said on the web site “this is satire.” They even tell you it’s a joke and you still don’t get it. Yes, it’s a tasteless joke but still – you people really need to lighten up.

The author states that the vicious attacks calling Glen Beck a racist are worse than calling the President, Hitler, an absurd claim. Hitler was the impetus for millions of murders and multiple rapes. It’s sensible for Beck to ignore the claims that he raped and murdered a young girl, of course. But what the website was trying to highlight is that Beck himself implies things that lacks evidence, or you can dispute infinitely – such as if there was a conspiracy about Obama’s birth, despite him having shown his birth certificate. I think the point of the website is to point out that making an outrageous, unprovable claim backed up by zero evidence is preposterous, and that people in the media should not make such baseless claims.

If someone accused me of murdering someone in 1990 and I knew it to be completely and outrageously false, I would not even justify it by responding in any way. That would be like someone saying to me, prove to me that you weren’t involved in the murder of theKennedy’s and we will believe you. I’d look at them like they were crazy and walk away. I would be just as insane to take the bait and say No, of course I didn’t, it would be ridiculous even to answer such a thing. It is obviously made up and without evidence concerning the slander against Glenn Beck. The logic of most of the folks that I have read and talked to who are in the far left is so loony. so silly and so opposite to what they paint themselves to be; Intelligent, accepting, superior in every way. But after a while you find out that they are more interested in correcting a typo than answering a logical question based on real evidence than answering the question. Lies are hard to defend when there is so much evidence to the contrary.

FACT: Glenn Beck has never acknowledged or denied that he raped and murdered a young girl in 1990.

I don’t know, in situations like this the truth is almost always somewhere in the middle. I tend to think that Glenn probably did not do both of the things he’s alleged to have done. I think it more likely he did one but not the other. The question that keeps nagging at me is, which one?
