While
Bill Press could have been a little more diplomatic about his opinion, everyone
must admit, if you were going to hire someone to run a foot race, it would probably
not be Chris Christie. Anyone who becomes President of these United States
understands the stamina required for such a vigorous, stressful active
position.

If we
all had a glass window into our body to view the health of the organs which function
to keep us active in a fast, continual pace, many of us would know ahead of
time who would and who would not reach the finish line standing. Since we only
have outward appearances of one another, trim looking people get more votes
than heavy people when it comes to making judgments as to who should and who
should not run for President, since the job requires never ending, continual
physical activity. Bill is right but not polite.

Christie is a good guy. I think he’s doing the right thing by not running this year. The problem isn’t Christie’s weight but the fact he’s too sane for the Republicans this year. Hopefully, the Republicans will get their house and order and Christie will have a good shot in either 2016 or 2020. I do think he should attempt to lose weight by then because although it’s not really that important as far as his leadership skills go, it does paint a negative image on the campaign. Anyways, Chrstie is a Republican I could certainly find myself voting for.
