Broadway Gives Its Regards To Glee; Muckety Does Online Jazz Hands

This is so cool: Muckety has created an interactive map of all the Broadway stars who have guest-starred or are set to guest star on Glee, this season’s beloved TV sensation for the drama club/theater camp/dance around the living room with my arms up like this set. The map is pegged to the news that Wicked and Rent star Idina Menzel will be joining the cast in a recurring role. (Fun fact: Rent was my first Broadway show, ever. 4th row center. Nov. 1997.) Menzel starred in Wicked opposite the fabulous Chenoweth, which could lead to some delightful onscreen rematches for Broadway nerds. (And before you dismiss those nerds, per New York magazine this week, Wicked just set a new B’way record for weekly gross with $2,086,135, which beat the old record, also set by Wicked, of $1,839,950.)

Those selfsame nerds will no doubt, then, enjoy this graphic, and playing with Muckety’s interactive tool:

And by the way, could Jane Lynch be any more awesome. p.s. In honor of the first night of Hanukkah, and Orrin Hatch, another fun fact: Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk is the son of Hadassah national president Nancy Felchuk. L’chaim!

(Hat tip: Joe My God.)
Here’s a little Glee for your viewing/singing pleasure:

Good News/Bad News: NY Subways To Get WiFi And Cell Phone Service

Plans are in place to bring WiFi and mobile phone service to the subways of New York. Sure, this announcement comes after a summer where budget constraints have caused lines to be discontinued and the MTA has considered no longer selling unlimited tickets but, hey, now I don't have to wait till I get all the way to work to surf porn on the internet!
