Turns out that Bill O’Reilly isn’t the only high-profile conservative whom Lady Gaga can count among her legions of “little monsters.” GOP presidential hopeful Tim Pawlenty is also a fan.

Pawlenty (or “T-Paw,” if you’re so inclined) opened up about his admiration for the singer’s talent after asking a trio of reporters in Ames, Iowa about their favorite Lady Gaga songs:

In terms of the beat, I like “Bad Romance.”

I gotta say, even though she’s a little unusual, “Born this Way” has got some appeal. Now, she’s actually very talented. If you go to the end of the HBO special — the Lady Gaga HBO special — and you watch her sing acapella, “Born This Way,” she can sing. She can definitely sing. She’s talented. And she does it acapella. Interesting. Talented. A little weird.

Pawlenty sagely noted that if you had to “limit your artistic choices to just consersatives, you wouldn’t have a lot of choices.” In fact, his own musical taste includes artists across the political spectrum, from Bruce Springsteen to Toby Keith.

Another Pawlenty post with hardly any replies. This is a testament to his lack of support. Compare this with a Bachmann or Palin thread which garner more interest in less than thirty minutes than attention he receives in an entire day. Very sad by comparison.
