Dominique Strauss-Kahn Enters A Not Guilty Plea, Hotel Maid To Testify
Former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn entered a “not guilty” plea this morning to charges that he raped a maid at a Manhattan hotel. Strauss-Kahn was previously released on bail and permitted to have home detention, where he is being monitored by at least one guard at all times (not to mention the many journalists camped outside his new residence).
Strauss-Kahn’s wife, TV journalist Anne Sinclair, was with her husband as he entered his plea. Outside the courthouse, a group of hotel workers gathered together to chant “shame on you” as the couple made their exit.
The lawyer for Strauss-Kahn’s alleged victim confirms that she will testify against him during the trial.
