Donald Trump Finds New Champion In Fight Against CNN — And It’s Lindsay Lohan!

Important question: Is Lindsay Lohan OK?

The actress famously went through a bit of a rough patch throughout the 2000’s, but her most troubling comment in recent years came on Monday, when Lohan took to Twitter to demand that CNN stop bullying President Donald Trump.

I know what you’re thinking — the tweet, a response to an apparent Trump supporter’s tweet calling those who criticized Trump for posting a video of himself physically assaulting CNN “crybabies” — was probably a mistake. Surely, Lohan, whom President Trump in 2004 said was “probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed” on the Howard Stern show, had mixed up Trump with CNN? Surely, she meant that Trump should stop bullying CNN, right?

Wrong.

Just to make things crystal clear, in a follow up tweet, she called Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump, Jr., kind people. “Why speak poorly of anyone?”

If only Trump, who recently shamed MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski for allegedly having a facelift, has called women dogs and fat pigs and accused them of menstruating, mocked a disabled reporter, called Mexican immigrants rapists, and the list goes on… for a while, could answer that question for himself. Why speak poorly of anyone, indeed.

For her own part, the first lady has defended Trump’s sexist bullying of Brzezinski by claiming that when attacked, her husband “punches back 10 times harder” (but he’s never, never, ever endorsed violence, folks!). Donald Trump, Jr. has compared Syrian refugees to Skittles and, characteristically enough, Ivanka has stayed silent, speaking up only to whine about viciousness purportedly directed at her.

Ah, yes, what kind people.
