Florida’s Independent Senate Candidate Charlie Crist Wants To Impress You With Anagrams

Over the Labor Day weekend, Florida Senate candidate Charlie Crist rolled out a new, playful TV ad, designed to show he’s a true independent. In it, he takes the words “Democrats” and “Republicans”, spelled out in large foam letters and lets us know who he is working for. What could those letters be rearranged to spell? Particleboards? Brainteasers? (F)lorid(i)ans?

Nope, it’s “Americans”! Spelled with a mysterious red “M” and blue “I” (who presumably changed colors mid-video to make for a more pleasing visual). The problem is that Charlie Crist should be working for Floridians, presumably. If there was a third “If Party” and it would have worked.

But as is, maybe this is an ad testing the waters for a presidential run? Either way, in this electoral season, it’s good to see any ad that manages to resist overt negativity.

Crist changed his answer on whether he would have voted for Obolshie-care from “yes” to “maybe” to “I don’t know” to “no” all within a week. He supported Obolshie’s stimulus package last year on many occasions, then when the tide turned denied ever supporting it, three or four DOZEN YouTubes to the contrary notwithstanding…!

This fool takes the voters to be even stupider, more venal, and more crooked than he himself is……!

Crist is a shill for himself, an autistic chameleon on plaid who is destroying his political career on a daily basis this Fall.
