You are way off base with the comment. I was using this story as a generic reference about all networks and the way they buy pilots. My remarks had nothing at all to do with the politics of the situation. It was a joke.

Methinks you simply misunderstood (shocking) what Beck was saying. He wasn’t talking about himself… he was talking about Massa’s voting power.

Massa (according to him), was going to be one of the hard-to-get Democratic votes for Obamacare. The way Massa tells it, he was the last Democratic holdout, and without him, Pelosi would potentially be able to push the bill through the House. THEREFORE, his decision to stay or go (we now know it’s “go,” although this too will have big implications), will greatly affect the healthcare debate. And yes, passage of the bill will greatly change the nation… so Beck’s statement isn’t wrong.

But then again, this is Mediaite, so a chance to smear Beck is as good as gold. Facts remain irrelevant.

To put all this into a sack of nuts, Beck’s audience doesn’t care if Rep Massa was fucking a male staffer; they’re more concerned about getting fucked themselves by Obama’s health care plan.

The problem is Massa’s resignation (which btw stops the ethics investigation so we may never know who fracked who or why or, most important, if he liked it). Without Massa, there will now be just 431 members of the House, lowering the number of votes for a majority to 216. If Massa were still in office, a majority would require 217 votes.

I am buying survival seeds and gold, not necessarily in that order and I recommend everyone else do the same. Something very bad is coming…please, please…watch tomorrows program…and tell your friends…please, I’m begging you.
