I have no “crowd,” but more importantly, I’ve routinely condemned the “Hitler/Nazi” analogy no matter who makes it.

So the resolution was for “a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House.” Does suggesting that Republicans “want you to die,” or comparing ANYTHING to the Holocaust not qualify as a “breach of decorum,” or “degrading the proceedings,” or bring “discredit to the House”? Really? What he said was insulting, wrong, and disrespectful. If Nancy Pelosi wants to cry about “bad language,” she needs to be able to call it out from her own side too. The Wilson event was a partisan stunt, and this event highlights it’s hypocrisy.

Nothing like a little blatant hypocrisy. Oh, and enough with the endless demand for apologies. If anything, the entire Congress – all 535 of them – owe America an apology for their pathetic behavior.

Grayson may have been over dramatic and used language that is extreme, but that is neither new or unusual anymore. It is within the rules, though. Wilson violated the rules of the House with his outburst.

We have become an ultra thin skinned society that now searches every utterance looking for an insult and then demanding an apology. Maybe the kids on Capitol Hill should all take a 10 minute time out and relearn their jobs.

If Speaker Pelosi really does have “concerns about some of the language” being used, as she said tearfully, then she should condemn this as she did Wilson’s comments.
