Howard Stern To The Rescue! Herman Cain Sexual Harassment Scandal Is ‘A Smear Job’

audio

Herman Cain‘s ongoing sexual harassment scandal may have won him a number of detractors, but at least one prominent voice on talk radio (besides Rush Limbaugh) is buying his side of the story: Howard Stern. Stern took some time on his program to praise Cain’s rendition of “Imagine There’s No Pizza” and, when asked by co-host Robin Quivers what he thought of the accusations, said decidedly, “I think it’s a smear job.”

Stern played a clip of the now-famous performance of John Lennon‘s “Imagine” that turned the song into a pizza anthem, as Cain performed it with the help of a gospel choir. Stern sounded impressed with Cain’s dedication, stating, “that’s a guy who gets into his job.” Since Cain came up in conversation, Quivers asked him to evaluate the sexual harassment scandal, to which he gave a simple, direct response: “I think it’s a smear job.” Quivers replied that such smear jobs were common in politics, and that it happens to everyone, but that didn’t seem to convince Stern that the story was more legitimate than he had thought it before.

    Quite a rant.

  • Anonymous

How can it be a “smear job” if there have been at least two multi – thousand dollar settlements?

  • Anonymous

Did they finally say what he was accused of? Did they finally prove he was guilty of what he was accused of or if the company paid the women off to avoid publicity? I no longer believe the old adage of when there is smoke there is fire when politicians throw so many smoke bombs to make it look like its on fire when its not. Does look like he is a bit of a sexist but then we know Obama is as told to us by his own. He is running a boys club she said, no woman allowed. So yes it looks like a spear job No I will remain in Cains camp until something real and solid is brought forward. So far it looks like a smear job.

Shame on Howard..   anyone with a daughter or 2 or 3 should be ashamed of themselves for taking Herman Cain’s side on this.  We don’t know who outed him yet but the story is out and he should be judged by his issues with women.

what kind of insanity has this country come to?

  • Anonymous

Yes, Mediaite runs 47 articles on Herman Cain in just 4 days, and not one deals with a policy issue.

You’ve seen it before, and you will see it again.  This is how the liberal press deals with uppity blacks and women who don’t walk in lock-step with the liberal agenda.

Here’s the playbook: Prevent the candidate’s message from getting any exposure — meanwhile running round-the-clock coverage filled with ridicule and innuendo.  Check out the last 1,000 articles on Sara Palin at Mediaite to see how this works in practice.  If you still haven’t figured it out, look at all the articles on Michele Bachmann that have appeared on Mediaite during 2011. Just watch, you will see more of the same, again and again…every time those blacks and women get too uppity.

it is to demand real news—
time for the sensationalism to stop. everyone is chasing the FOX’s tail trying to see who can outcrazy the next–

we have an economy that could be fixed within months by actually just doing what needs to be done–
fix our streets, our schools, bridges, power grids and communications—
it has to be done–if not now–then later–
the difference being–if we do it later–we will have less of a labor force, higher costs and even more damage and decay..
BIZ 101–YOU BUILD WHEN COSTS ARE LOW–AND THAT IS NOW–WE HAVE MILLIONS READY TO WORK–AND GOOD SKILLED LABOR AT A GOOD PRICE…
when the economy changes–all bets are off–
labor costs up—material costs up–and damages up–
just think if your child had cancer–you could borrow the money and stop it now—or wait till you had the money and try in a year or 2 when things are much worse..
    does that sound reasonable?
well we have a country suffering from a cancer called failing infrastructure and we have  a great opportunity to do great things now–in transportation, education, energy, communications…
and we are letting the media and a few greedy billion dollar  power grabbers sacrifice our future for their profit and ratings..
    AMERICA–TIME TO STOP THE SILLINESS—REALLY~

OF course its a smear job…. just because there are settlements doesn’t admit guilt… he never admitted guilt and had even left when one of the two settlements were distributed. Listen, my husband is VP of Sales of a company of 6000 employees, he deals with this every month is some form of lawsuit with employees. Sometimes its a lot cheaper to pay off disputes than fight them. The 40k they paid off is cheaper than it would cost for a lawyer to fight it.. They had a bad problem with minority’s getting fired and then claiming it was discrimination, when in fact it was laziness and just bad work. So we usually paid them 10k to go away and agree to never sue again..it was cheaper than the lawyers. Well, after years and years of this, we decided to lose money fight every claim and stop the nonsense. We never lost a case, we lost money ….but now the frivolous lawsuits stopped…..

Dakota, thank you.  Anyone who works in the Human Resources end of management understands that the cost of defending the allegations brought forward by these women would have cost the Association thousands of dollars, whether they were successful or not.  The one glaring point I have drawn from this is both women left the Association after receiving their awards which is a good indication to me that they were either summarily dismissed without prejudice or they left of their own accord.  Why would you leave a job AFTER the target of your complaints left the company?

No, there is more or very possibly much less to this story than we’re being told.  One of the women has already decided it’s no longer even worth discussing; with anyone.  Waiting for the other to basically agree to the same thing.  Liberal journalist dogs chasing down a non-story when there are much more enticing stories to discuss.  When is someone other than Fox and CBS going to speak further of the developing Solyndra scandal?

  • News Of The World

LMFAO!!  You need a hobby or two.  You spend wayyyyyy too much time on this website… don’t you have a family or friends that need you?

Good for Howard Stern, he can smell the Politico driven B.S. a mile away. Shame on the liberals for pushing lies against Cain.

  • Rio

You do realize that Cain was not there to be able to confront his accusers for either case, it was just dispensed with by the restaurant association and, problem solved.  The attorney who spoke yesterday on behalf of one of the accusers said that it was conceivabe that Cain was unaware that the case was filed.

How many doctors are smeared?  Cases are cheaper to settle than to take them to court, which is why their malpractice insurance is extremely high.  Unfortunately there is no shortage of people out to lie their way into cash.

One woman is now free to speak but doesn’t see a reason for doing so, other than her accusations finally being confronted.  Not calling her a liar, but I see no reason for her to withhold information after she’s asked to be released from the terms of the settlement, why? ……book deal?  magazine spread?  She’s got her attorney out in the press now, what’s next?

  • Anonymous

Man, you really should step into the real world of business, extortion, er lawsuits, and insurance these days….. I work for a business consulting firm and these kind of settlements are a dime a dozen… if anything, you would like to think this would shed some needed light on tort reform.  Ask a doctor how frustrating it is when their insurer settles when they are 100% innocent….

It’s both people…It a smear job and news worthy simultaneously..  Someone . most like the gop establishment, fed the story to politico to hurt Cain ..That the smear..  The facts of the situation, guilt or innocence withstanding, have to be reported…  He WAS accused and money DID change hands.. That’s the new worthy bit..   The really troublesome part for Cain is his repeated lies over the course of the last week.. All of his defenders seem to ignore this..

  • Anonymous

A picture is worth a thousand words. In Weiners case they had hard evidence and not just he said she said.

  • Anonymous

So it was the Santorum campaign?

  • K7d7q7

Rio, do you actually believe the attorney that said Cain may not have even known? Lawyers lie! You can’t possibly have a completed lawsuit action until the person named has been served. Get a clue about the legal world please.

  • Anonymous

“judged by his issues with women”??? Do we even know exactly what Cain is accused of? I haven’t seen the specific charges, have you? I’ll wait until the details are known before I pass judgement.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_VYUK3HIJFCPFBZUHRHN6HCR5AA MarkfromSavannah

joe – you’ve been off your meds the last couple of days so I know I have to be careful in the manner I couch my question but I’m going to give it my best shot:

What similarities do you see between Anthony Weiner and Herman Cain?

  • proud2teabagu

Why then are you so worried about Anthony Weiner?

  • Anonymous

Settlements are made all the time for false accusations. It’s cheaper than going to court.

  • Anonymous

So you think he is automatically guilty.

  • Anonymous

    LOL…Howard Stern is officially non-partisan!

Lawyers also try to publicly shake down presidential candidates or try to embarrass them owing to their politics with threats of their clients being released from non-disclosure agreements only for their clients to refuse to talk to the press.

  • Anonymous

    that was good

  • Anonymous

Somewhat true, but the elevation of the story was beyond that necessary for unsubstantiated allegations.  It was an attempted tear-down based on very flimsy evidence and Cain naturally attempted to diffuse it with words meant to minimize and diminish the story.  So now you turn around and say what prompted the hubbub isn’t really all that worthy but that he tried to get passed it undamaged politically is now the crime.

    Great galloping ghost!

Right out of Saul Alinsky’s playbook:  keep repeating a lie long enough for people to perceive it as the truth.  Politico, a left leaning political web site that broke this story ran almost 90 stories in 5 days…the same site that literally ran and hid from the John Edward’s story.  Mediate doing much the same thing.  What are we hearing about media stories on Solyndra?, Fast & Furious?, John Corzine?  Economy/Jobs?  The difference this time for this center/right country is that most Americans have caught on to liberal bias in all forms of the media & no one is buying this sh*t anymore.

and here is your ignorance there was no lawsuit it was an internal complaint at the company. Geez people at least know your facts.  The media is leading you by the nose.  It was settled 12 years ago Cain never was charged.  The company settled with no admission of guilt.  Businesses do it every day.  Read something informative for a change.

  • Anonymous

what?  Did Cain send pictures of his pecker to women?  Who knew?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000189790863 Brenda Ward

Outed for what?  Sexual harassment was alleged to human resources at the company, Herman never had to go to court or answer any questions.  The company settled it the women took the money and ran.  No case period.  All the media has said is inappropriate gestures and comments.  Wow let’s hang the man.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000189790863 Brenda Ward

S I N.  switch the subject, ignore the facts and name call.

Um there was actually evidence on Weiner not just hearsay.

  • Anonymous

your kind of insanity.  There is nothing but you have decided he’s guilty.  What the hell kind of country is this turning into?

  • Anonymous

If it was a “law suit” there would be records.  There was no “law suit” – it was handled in house.  The women got a severance package and packed out the door.  Doesn’t speak well of their “innocence” does it?

  • ceeza

I’m not the media and I don’t decide what they show.. I personally could have done without the SIX months it felt like of Tiger Woods stories.. My simple point is it had to be reported.. It wasn’t a liberal hit job like the conservatives on this thread keep lying and saying.. Just ask Herman Cain…. And I’m saying it WAS a smear .. Even if the smear was news worthy.. He has lied this week.. Which does show his character.. It also shows his character under fire however right or wrong the fire may have been.. If you want to talk about policy.. He has changed major positions multiple times.. He has seemed woefully unprepared and lacking in general basic foreign policy knowledge.. Look I’m liberal.. I think he’s easily beatable why would we want him out of the race?  The piling on is stupid but quit blaming liberals …  Look at your party for this “hubbub” and look at his statements..

  • Anonymous

You’re the one who needs to get a life.  No one is forcing you to read my comments.  And certainly no one cares about your responses to them — since they are totally devoid of substance.

  • Anonymous

Establishment republicans aren’t in charge of where the press goes.  They can feed the media ammunition, but doesn’t direct it’s gun.  They don’t tell major evening news shows to put the story at the top of their broadcasts, they don’t have a say in leftist editorial boards’ decisions to put the story above the fold and they don’t direct progressive bloggers and columnists on internet based media observation sites to write breathless articles rife with indignation.

Thus the character of progressive minded media; with its gun always aimed at conservatives; it’s up to them whether or not to take aim below the belt.

I don’t critique you as being those in the media able to push the narrative.  You’re just the habituated target audience for the press’ matador manipulations in that they know they can always lead you away from meaningful discussion or oposition with red flag character issues.  And look.  You’re there already.

Do you realize that if a man calls a woman sweetie, honey, darling,  attractive, cute, etc  SOME women will file harassment charges in a workplace environment?

Companies find it more cost effective to settle these frivolous suits, instead of wasting time and money going through the courts.

Men of Mr. Cain’s age, grew up in an era, where these words were considered nothing more than “compliments.”

You know the old saying….”You can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”

  • ceeza

I said he was piled on..But not because of “liberal media”  more because of a salacious media..  Anthony Weiner was already elected which is true.. But I wouldn’t say the “liberal media” backed off him..They crushed him.. He broke NO laws.. He’s a pervert which is true but so what.. I do think he should have resigned though BUT only because he LIED.. His lies to me made him unfit to serve…. You still won’t discuss Herman Cains lies.. You seemed to make some sort of arguement that he was defending himself ..  A lie is a lie is a lie.. He lied .. Which only makes it reason number 57 why he’s unfit to be President in my book.. I hope he gets the nom though(He wont).. Obama would destroy him

  • Anonymous

Actually, Wiener famously used friendly contacts within the press to slander those questioning him for several days – explicitly denying true allegations and intoning he was being libeled (most specifically calling out Andrew Breitbart; against whom many savaging articles were written) – until the pics were passed around behind the scenes of him with his pants around his ankles and it couldn’t be denied any longer with a straight face.  His greatest offense is that he burned his relationship with the press and publicly played them for fools; that’s why they broke on him and hounded him from his seat.

    But whatever dude.

  • ceeza

sheessh Friendly contacts?? He lied to them.. Sure some probably wanted to believe him especially because of the scum bag who leaked it.. But he lied..Cain did the Same thing , essentially, that Weiner did off the bat..When the story first broke they lied.. Weiner said Breitbart was full of it.. and Cains people said Politico was full of it. Then Cain continued to lie, as did Weiner… Do you want me to tell you there are a lot of left leaning people in the media because I will??  Do also want me to tell you the sky is blue?  Look forget the harassment .. Apart from that Herman Cain lied .. He lied He lied He lied.. Answer Me this.. Did Herman Cain Lie? Yes Or No?  You seem to be focusing on “liberal media”.. If you hate the media now you’ve probably always hated them.. Do you have a problem with his lies?  I had no problem with Weiners personal life ..but his lies … Good bye..

  • Anonymous

It’s not a smear if it’s true.  Gee people are stupid.

I notice the biggest pile of trash to ever walk the planet, Howard Stern, is defending Cain.  What a surprise.

  • Rio

There was no lawsuit filed against Cain.  The women were given  severance packages through Cain’s employer.  It was the woman’s attorney who stated Cain may not have known of the case and, he was her attorney throughout the action.

    Apology!

  • Bob

cept it probably came from the Perry campaign.

  • Hmm

Re “Let’s hang the man.”  Yes.  Let’s.  By his beloved black walnuts.  Obviously, the attorneys for the Restaurant Association determined that there was merit in the accusations of the two different accusers, one of whom reported a pattern of repeated, unwanted suggestive remarks. They’re not in the business of handing out checks just to make things go away as they worry about precedent.  You could read about it if you were so inclined, but willful ignorance gives you cover for your self-hating misogyny, Brenda.  Herman Cain is an inept, arrogant, right-wing talk radio bully whose blackness offers a distinguishing feature from the passel of white boys who dominate the category.  He doesn’t want to be president; He wants to make money.  His book tour has taken precedence over everything else. And it’s working because people like you, Brenda, will keep giving him your money, especially since it makes you feel like you’re not a racist after all.

  • Rio

Makes you wonder who really  leaked the story, Obama certainly has benefitted from the distraction.

Lawsuits have allegations of harm done, which are then publicly accessible. Seen that? No. Why not? No lawsuits. Duh.

  • Anonymous

I believe this is another instance of NOT changing anybody’s mind about Cain.
If anything, it gets him more publicity than he could buy, and that is probably a net gain for him.
A sexual harassment charge is quite mild when compared to being caught in a full-blown sex scandal, and there much worse crimes that a politician can get caught in.
The noise will blow over and Cain will lose when people actually add up the 9-9-9 plan’s effect on them. All other things aside, that is the one thing that will “take him down.”

  • Pablo

Obviously, you don’t know shit from Shinola. $35K just gets the lawyers warmed up.

    THAT is what you brought?????????
You USED to be good at this.

  • Anonymous

sheessh Friendly contacts?? He lied to them.

Decidedly friendly.  Like used to sleep with him friendly.  These and others were elicited into a campaign not only to cover up his deeds, but to cast blame for them on someone else.

The “scum bag” who leaked Wiener’s deal was Anthony Wiener.  Knowing of his proclivity of soliciting inappropriate on-line relationships with young women, a few partisans camped on his twitter feed until the good congressman slipped up and posted a private message as public.  They got a screen grab and went to the conservative press (Breitbart), which was promptly attacked as were the sources, and the women who came forward or were simply caught up in the story.  The first thing Wiener did, knowing full well he was guilty as sin, was to turn around and attack innocent 3rd parties and get his media friends to go along with it.

These are the lies for which you feel Wiener should not have resigned over because – hey, it was just about sex, man – and use to compare against that which Cain has said which you categorize as equivalent “lies.”  As you as much state, “lies! LIES!  damn lies!!! not qualified for the LIES!”  And what were these you damn?  Initial hesitancy to positively admit remembering a 20 year old allegation handled by the organization for which he used to work that he may not have initially remembered; and suggestions the payout for such was a few months when instead it was a full year.  All while positively stating – and nothing has been produced to prove otherwise, that he hadn’t harassed anyone to begin with.

Even with all the facts, you can’t stop yourself from playing to the narrative.  Thus, your upset with Cain for what the press did, and alleged.  So transparently manipulated, as partisans are wont to do.

Three accusers and two settlements isn’t evidence it is accusations and settlements. Cain said he did not use inappropriate behavior but the company didn’t want to spend the money to take it to court. The company and the women settled without Cain being part of it. Standard operating procedure back then to settle regardless of guilt. No evidence beyond he said she said. So yes no evidence yet, only accusations.

I think it is HILARIOUS that there is any discussion/debate or argument regarding these allegations. WHY? Its not like HERMAN CAIN had a chance (or has) in HELL to win an election for the POTUS.. ZIP and to think otherwise is straight insanity. Kinda like believing the other Cain, the one with Mc in front of his name had a chance to win with a crazy like Palin on his side (and before anyone says anything stupid, please remember they were summarily trounced). I would much rather prefer to read the arguments among the Perry, Romeny, and Cain contingent regarding which one of these folks started the ‘smear’ because trust me, not a single person who is ready to re-elect Obie (considering the GOP isnt giving us any choices that make sense) has any fear at all for the so called GOPparty/conservative people who have stepped up this year. This whole thing is internal and illustrates that the “right” is in disarray. They (the right/GOPparty etc) folks keep screaming about liberal media forgetting that ANY media is just trying to sell ads.. and currently the GOP folks are worthy of the marketing dollar. Not a single “non-right/gopParty person” cares about what is going on in Cain-ville or PerryLand.. because they are both crazy.. ROMNEY makes the left folks nervous but you guys in the Cain-Perry Posse ignore him, yell at “left/demosnobs” or whatever made up word is out there currently, and believe that the left is behind any or all of this. ITS pure ignorance.

IF you really believe that people who are prepared to go and re-elect Obie No Nobie you are just plain lost. IF McCain and Palin could get easily defeated, Cain et al., are a walk in the park. THIS is all about internal fighting from a group that has that problem with finding things behind their backs and below their belt buckles. GET IT TOGETHER GOmacrats.. your making your party history look really bad.

  • Pablo

    U mad bro?

You forgot the decimal point, joe. I have socks with a higher IQ than you.

of course stern would think its a smear job the a-hole cheated on his own wife and sexually harassing women on his show every chance he gets.. shame on stern and shame on american people to make herman cain is  the victim.. it turns my stomach that americans would support someone like him. This has nothing to do with political its about whats right..

Running against the press is a time-honored tradition, but Republicans do it with absolute religious fervor. They know that using the two magic words “liberal media” is red meat for the base. Just look at the comments from teaidiots like Tina and Norbit. They’ve determined — despite very serious allegations from several different sources — that Cain is completely innocent, based on nothing more than the campaign’s spin. How do you penetrate the brains of people who live in a fantasy world where everyone they agree with is a victim?

  • Pablo

Ah, President I Don’t Know. Run with that.

  • Pablo

Tell us about those serious allegations. You can’t. You lie.

  • Anonymous

“I am unaware of any sort of settlement. I hope it wasn’t for much, because I didn’t do anything,” he said.

But in an interview later Monday with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, Cain said he did know about it. “Yes, there was some sort of settlement or termination,” he said.

Oh? Did you have proof that that was Weiner’s weiner and not just one of a billion underwear shots grabbed from the internet?

  • Anonymous

Obama is the only person who HASN’T benefited from this scandal currently. You conservatards just won’t get it through your thick skulls — no matter how many times that evil libruhl media tells you — that Cain is one of the weakest opponents for Obama. They’d LOVE to run against him and the idea that they’ve done anything to hamper his march to the nomination is completely nonsensical.

I invite you to nominate Cain, though, if you don’t believe it.

  • Anonymous

    Republicans are stupid.

  • Rio

The second woman’s attorney has already said it’s conceivable that Cain did not know of his case as it was handled after Cain had already left.  Why would that be?  if she was so uncomfortable, why wait until he was gone?

    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57318500-503544/cain-did-not-sign-settlement-accusers-lawyer-says/

Now, the confidentiality agreements are void and the women can sue due to statements Cain has made, we shall see.  Also, other employees are free to speak and several employees have already offered to step forward in Cain’s defense.  Again, we shall see.

“This is something they never want to commit to,” Olsen said. “There are too many mouths to control….She has only one, but the association has a limitless number.”

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/joshgerstein/1111/Lawyers_see_Cain_accusers_as_free_to_talk.html

  • Rio

BS, this has pushed Solyndra, Fast and Furious, 100 stimulus criminal cases in the energy dept., and more serious issues…….off the front page.  Politico has what? 90-100 stories on this in a week’s time?  CNN is averaging 16 stories a day.  Of course this is benefitting Obama.

  • Rio

Man, now why didn’t Weiner think of that handy defense, he would have still been a congressman.  You pick that up from your stupid “libruhl” media?

  • Rio

Someone who admits to keeping his brain in his pocket really should not be calling anyone stupid.

  • Anonymous

According to Politico, Cain said that he had “thousands of people working for me” over his years as a businessman and he declined to comment on the allegations “until I see some facts or some concrete evidence.”

He was contacted by politico TEN DAYS before the story ran. Are you telling me that he had no idea what allegations were being referenced in the story? That’s patently absurd. If he knew, then he was lying when he first denied knowing about the allegations and the settlement. And if he was completely blindsided by the reports ten days after being told about them, then that means he’s a completely incompetent manager.

  • david r

You nailed it.  These women are out to make a buck.  Like Shirley Sherrod and the rest.

  • david r

Sounds like this was resolved at the company without suit.  Before you can sue for sex discrimination, you have make a complaint to the EEOC that they find has enough merit for them to issue a right-to-sue letter.  Then you have 6 months to sue them.  As I understand, none of these complaints made it to the EEOC.  Sounds like Cain was a little to impressed with himself.  Like most politicians.  Nothing to be proud of.

  • david r

Which they used to build another room on their house.  I’m sorry, but I’ve seen too many women do this kind of small-time shakedown.  If the harassment had been egregious, they would have filed complaints at the EEOC.  I noted from the Christmas Party video that the company culture permitted way more ‘fraternization’ than any place I’ve worked.  When you work at a place where employees sleep together, it is just a matter of time until something erupts.  The supreme court has held that an employer can ban fraternization.

  • david r

In case anyone is wondering, I can be bought.  Won’t take much to shut me up for good.

  • david r

    $35K is just chum.

  • david r

Don’t get mad at Pablo.  It is just performance art.

  • Anonymous

Of course it’s a smear job. Vague stories of harassment from anonymous sources who, even after being told by the NRA that the confidentiality agreement would be waived, still refuse to talk of details.

Smear job, pure and simple. It’s all the Demorats have left.

  • Rio

That would depend on the conversation he had with Politico.  With the confidentiality agreement still in force, what details did they feel free enough to disclose to Herman Cain without putting sources in a legal kerfuffle.  Was it, “we have information that you harassed female workers while heading the NRA?  Care to explain?”  In that case he would have to wait to see what shakes out.

Again, the second woman’s attorney said it was conceivable that Cain did not know of the case, nothing that I’ve seen has shown any information as to when the other claims were lodged.

  • Pablo

I don’t see the serious allegations in there. You lie.

  • MG

I wouldn’t talk like that to a casual professional relation, nor would I want some one addressing my wife as such.
A woman would slam me if I did.

  • david r

I had a political science prof once point out how one did not have to be very smart to dig a hole in the path, cover it with branches and leaves, and have you adversary fall in it.  It’s a good lesson.

  • steveknows

….”You can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”

So why would we elect him president?

  • steveknows

    Good one.
From the tried and true, “I know you are but what am I?” collection of witty retorts.
But complaining that someone reads what you write, or dares to criticize you, is a new one.
If you didn’t want to be read, why did you post it, and how would anyone know what a fool you were before reading your crap? And didn’t you know that people slam one another here, or are you just too delicate to deal with it?

Get back to me whenever you get a chance.

  • steveknows

And you’re here, on this liberal site, to what?  Convert the heathens? Is that it? You’re on a mission?
Or is it that there aren’t any conservative sites? Or do you like it here?
And what’s wrong with Saul Alinsky? He was a social reformer who did a lot of good in helping achieve social justice. Now he’s some buzzword amongst wrong-wingers, who got it from their puppet masters, but have no idea who he actually was.
He’s dead, and unable to defend himself. Who’s tactic is that?
As for lying, get real. All the repugnantans do is lie. About everything. All the time.
    Creep.

  • Anonymous

    Did you forget he confessed?

  • Anonymous

It’s obviously not a smear because everything they reported is TRUE.  Politico reported that sexual harassment claims were reported and money was paid which is exactly what happenned.  Anybody calling this a smear is lying or doesn’t understand what a smear is.

  • Anonymous

I have dumb socks with a higher IQ than you.

  • Anonymous

A complaint was filed and money was paid just as Politico reported.  Those are the facts as reported.  Where is the smear in simply reporting facts?  Just because you don’t like the facts that were reported does NOT make it a smear job.

  • Yukon Jack

    So, WHAT???

That disgusting sissy ballet dancer, and frequent and beloved guest of MSNBC quack ‘hosts’, Ron Reagan is President Ronald Reagan’s SON!

What facts? Accusations were made by two women and they got a settlement from the company. True. A third woman makes the same claim that Cain said inappropriate things to her. True. However no one has said what those accusations where about, Cain denied them but the company didn’t want to bother to fight them. That was standard operating procedure back then. It cost more to go to court than to settle. I’ll tell you another fact. I didn’t say it was a smear in my comment. Woman have gotten paid off for being called honey and sweetie back then so many woman jumped on it and made claims to get money. So no it isn’t about some facts I don’t like but missing facts and smearing a candidate with unproven accusations. The smear was not the original report but the continued conversation and reports.

The Libs and Progs are go’n all hate on Howard Stern now…typical.

  • Anonymous

A complaint was filed…the complaint was investigated and found to be without merit…nevertheless, money was not only paid, but accepted…this whole affair sheds light only upon the way business is conducted in the modern-day sexual harassment industry
this was about 15 years ago, right?….
    get real…who cares?

Howard Stern?  I didn’t know that this no talent having Brew was still on the air waves.  Anyway, since when has he and his Aunt Jemima skank started to defend “Black” people?  That lousy rat bastard used to get his clown on, at our expense, and now he’s chewing on Herb Cain’s foreskin? Whatever, I have a bowel movement that’s more important than this story

  • http://mediamatters.org/ Leedog

Doesn’t Howard Stern have strippers to degrade rather than injecting himself into politics??

  • Ikamidori

You see, this is why I have never liked Howard Stern.
