		<description>I totally disagree, actually &#8212; Brian Stelter is doing a lot of preliminary work for his colleagues by getting on the story via Twitter, with information that his colleagues can find and access easily. Stelter&#039;s the guy who aggregated the first eyewitness accounts that I have in my Twitter screengrab above - I found them only because of him. I think that Twitter is a tool that enhances reporting, and allows more people to effectively act as stringers for whoever is writing up the report of record.</description>

		<description>As long as New York&#039;s journalists are busy tweeting instead of working the stories for their own newsrooms, I can&#039;t say I&#039;m surprised that Twitter has the better coverage. 

That said, the newsnets will never totally catch up until they get out of their &quot;not reported here&quot; mindset. Eventually, someone&#039;s going to break with tradition and not feel &quot;dirty&quot; by aggregating on-air.</description>
