In It To Win It: Russian Presidential Candidate Mikhail Prokhorov Shows Off His Rapping Skills
President Obama isn’t the only musically inclined politician these days! Less than two weeks away from the election, Russian presidential candidate (and oligarch) Mikhail Prokhorov is mixing things up. Appearing on a comedy show, Prokhorov showed off his rapping skills. Way more entertaining than a speech, right?
Prokhorov, who also shares ownership of the New Jersey Nets with Jay-Z, rapped about his tech venture, “yo-Mobile” — while he and the other three men at the table awkwardly tapped their feet and bobbed their heads. One host exclaimed, “Mr. Jay Z this is a first presentation of real rap music from Russian Federation!” Prokhorov, with pumped fist, declared, “Mikhail Prokhorov at the microphone!”
Other gems include Prokhorov’s line, “I am a real Russian Eminem.” And later, one of the hosts adds, “London is the capital of Great Britain.”
It is simultaneously terrible and wonderful.
(Meanwhile, opponent Vladimir Putin was giving a patriotic speech.)
