This is great of the greatest blogs in the area of education. Palin didn’t use her kids as a prop either, even though the lamestream press purported it as such. Just becasue they purport something doesn’t make it so.

As for circuses…LOL…some of Michelle’s outfits look like they came straight from a clown’s wardrobe.

Sorry, but he didn’t use his children as a prop. Yes, you may be right about a double standard. The Obama family is by far not the circus that the Palin family turned out to be.

Funny, no one mentioned the fact that the Obama Kids weren’t kept in the “background”. When Michelle Obama had her kids “out there”, no one adviced her keep them back, stuffed in a hotel room. The double standard is downright disgusting.

Palin put her children for the country to see. She promoted them for her own personal image. Therefore, she ask for everything she got. She could have left her children more in the background but no she wanted to be MOM. Those children should have been in school or at the very least being tutored in some hotel room while she flew around the country. Some people refuse to take responsibility for their actions and want to blame everyone else. She had choices and made all the wrong ones. Yes, women can do many jobs at once. She is just self centered and wanted all the attention and still does.

P.S. Rachel I grew up in a “very” Jewish neighborhood and NO the girls were not “easy”.

She was dammed if she stayed in office and damned if she didn’t. If she stayed she would have been dealing with the many unfounded ethics charges, taking much of her time, time taken away from governing. And if she quit, she was called a quitter. I think she had a good reason to quit, beings her liberal haters would continue filing frivolous ethics charges. Charges they filed for free, yet she would need to spend thousands to fight.

Piper was at the ball game, not Bristol…duh.

As for being low profile, whose fault is that? Every time she opened her mouth the lamestream media haters were all over her, recording and printing everything they knew about her. Than they have the audacity to claim she isn’t low profile, when the reason she isn’t, is because of them.

Yeah, I’m still not convince about Sarah Palin, @MaxiGrace. The fact that she quit the Governor’s position mid-way with no good reason does not recommend her highly to me. I don’t pass judgment on how anyone conducts their family life, but I always understood Letterman’s joke to have been about Bristol, not Piper. I don’t really subscribe to the “liberal scumbag vulture” or “conservative scumbag vulture” view, either. I don’t need help in evaluating Sarah Palin’s actions and coming to my own opinion about them. It’s not like she’s low-profile!

How has she abused her children? It has been the liberal lamestream press that has used her and her children in unseemly, abusive ways. Like Letterman’s reference to statutory rape of her underage daughter, the doctored ugly photos of a dear innocent Down syndrome baby, and horrid photoshoped pictures of her family, to name a few.

And what manifold failures and aborted undertakings? The liberal vultures wanted nothing more than to throw Palin out of the governor’s office, but then when she did resign, they were outraged, that she was obliging. They then, couldn’t get done and still aren’t done impugning her for it.

The real losers are those who filed all their umpteen petty ethics charges, which drove her out of office.

Charges, like the one where they charged her for wearing a warm winter jacket that she possessed for a years and one she always wore at Todd’s snowmobile races. The problem was that it had a logo on it with Todd’s Iron Dog sponsor. She got slapped with ethics violations for wearing a jacket with a logo.

She was charged for accepting “bribes” of chocolates and a kid’s hockey stick when she gifted with them after giving a speech at a charity event.

She was charged with holding a fish in a photo for a state fishing pamphlet.

She was charged with answering reporter’s questions in the lobby of her office the day she returned to work and found a whole herd pack of reporters blocking the doorway to her office. She was slapped with an ethics violation than as well.

She was acquitted on all those charges.

Instead of her staff dealing with the state’s business, they were dealing with the liberal vulture’s garbage thrust in her face. Anyone can file ethic charges in Alaska for free. These vultures flooded the system with charges and complaints to draw headlines against her. But she and her staff had to formally process each and every complaint and had to pay personally for her defense.

When she realized the liberal scum bag vultures would continue this garbage she chose to resign, because she wasn’t going to be able to do the work she was elected to do.

Than these same idiots have the gall to accuse her of manifold failures and aborted undertakings.

Is that hypocrisy, or is it valid criticism? Palin hasn’t done anything particularly well, and in her manifold failures and aborted undertakings, she has used her children in the most unseemly ways. I think most successful women recoil at that abuse of children. I think, in the end, the children may make it, but I attribute that to the strength of their father and not their stage mother.

The comment about Palin at the end of the video clip is so revealing. The liberal mantra has been that women should be able to do whatever they want, have a career, family, etc. Yet when Palin did just that, they condemn her. There is a word for that, hypocrisy.
