Yeah i agree with Blublogger. This year media just roam around something boring stories and repeatedly telecast those series as there is no other news to telecast. I thing they just thing that this will attract readers or viewers . But at the year they got a spicy tale in the form of Tiger woods.

Yet the media spent a lot of time chasing non-stories, from Balloon Boy to Sarah Palin’s death panels…Why did so many news organizations, from old media and new, chase silly, shiny distractions? Mainly because it’s easier than reporting out, and attracting readers to, big questions of politics and public policy.

Joan Walsh from Salon made the above statement. I believe it says it all about the "media" in this day and age. Look I know the media has a lot of time to fill with 24/7 news stations and blogs but some of the "crap" they focus on is just stupid. I would love it if the media and pundits did a better job of holding commenters feet to the fire. Few due that. Doesn['t matter what network they work for. I keep waiting for someone to ask the question I have during those "easy" interviews. Dylan Ratigan is one who pushes but somehow he comes across as a fanatic.
