If I had a choice between Sara Palin or mr. obama, She wins, hands down. But, we are stuck with a Hitler wanna-be for now. Olbermann must have the " tingle" for obama. Good luck with the debate, but I don't think he'll accept. His charity is himself. I hear he has enrolled in the obama school of lies. It's another part of Acorn, and it's free for idiots. Vitamin C

I realize this post is just bait to provoke the Olbermann-haters and politically, I’m not a fan of Sarah Palin, but though the media knocks on her resignation are starting to show traction, they are kind of off-base.

I mean, how could anyone run for President, if they’re almost 1500 miles northwest of Seattle – closer to Moscow than New York?

I wonder what color the sky is in Mr. Christopher’s world. Olbermann doesn’t debate anybody, period. Let’s not forget last summer’s respective political conventions, where despite his role as anchor he became palpably unhinged at the slightest GOP talking point, even those uttered by MSNBC colleagues (cf. “Jesus Christ Joe, why don’t you get a shovel,” and “CUT HIM OFF!”). A more interesting article by Mr. Christopher would have dealt with a speculative over/under on when Olbermann would melt down when forced to confront someone with opinions different from his own.

P.S. To the best of my knowledge, Olbermann has also ignored debate requests from Betsy McCaughey and Michael Medved after attempting to smear both of them.

Keith Olbermann? Is this the same guy whose claim to fame at Cornell Ag was being the best ball washer at the golf course? Communications Major at an Ag school? Is that a BA Cow Whisperer?

The guy has a total lack of knowledge, class and a very limited vocabulary.

MSNBC is a good place for this talentless hack.

I know it was written in jest, but think how bad things are if Olberman is your only hope. To have Olberman fact-checking is itself a laughable premise. This is the same Olberman who toddles around claiming to have matriculated from The Ivy League when he is in fact a communications major from Cornell’s agricultural school. (I mean if he cannot get his own backstory correct how viable is his research on others?) As you pointed out, they could not even get a name spelled correctly on his show.

There is a reason K.O. would never debate Palin – he would whither. Unlike his usual targets, O’reilly and Hannity, who have sat across from opponents like Al Franken and Michael Moore, Keith would not hold up. And as you point out it would do huge numbers – his show needs that, yet he would never. And your assessment of him being a center-left commentator is mirthful. He is so far removed from center if Keith were a quarterback he would line up behind his tight end.

I don’t think you need to worry about buying the popcorn, it’ll never happen. Olberman doesn’t allow opposing voices on his show, you are with him or you are not on the air with him.
