The increase in lottery amounts is determined largely based on ticket sales for previous drawings; apparently the Texas state Lottery has deemed the hype of tonight’s drawing large enough to safely announce the next expected increase.
That is to say, if Hillary Clinton doesn’t win the Powerball and use all the money to finance her campaign (geez, can you image what the outrage from the Sanders stump would sound like THEN?). And from one Jersey kid to another: please, tell these poor jamokes in Bergen County to double-check their damn tickets before quitting their jobs.
