Michael Steele: I Was Against Sarah Palin Before I Was For Her
Here’s a great way to get people to change their minds about you: pen a smash-hit memoir, sell out your national, campaign-like book tour, and flood the media with big interviews and soundbites. It’s hard to argue with that kind of success. Or at least it’s hard to argue against it.
Michael Steele, the current chairman of the GOP who continues to threaten to deal harshly with any member who does not toe the Right line, appears to be suffering with the same malady affecting much of the Republican party: what to do about Sarah Palin. The current answer apparently involves some flip-flopping and a**-kissing.
Courtesy of Daily Kos, here’s video of Steele from back in July saying 2012 was not an option for Palin, and again last week criticizing people for dismissing her so easily.

Can you belive this Joker, is the representative of a “political party” ?
I guess he is a Modern Man…overly cautious, very sensitive to “hurting feelings” of ANYTHING, always with one eye, on the polling.
He would make a perfect, TV Host, wouldn’t he…maybe he can pick something up, at PMS-NBC, after this “gig”.
Or end up on “K” Street, in a lobbying firm…THIS MAN HAS A FUTURE…PLEASE FIND ANOTHER JOB FOR HIM !
Kind of like Obama was for a military trial of KSM before he was against it?
In 06, Obama said: KSM would get a full military trial because he is guilty of a war crime”, but in 09 Obama said something completely different.
Not surprising that Steele would flip/flop on Palin – he’s displayed no principles at all. But at least he was showing some judgment in not being for Palin. Now he’s demolished that delusion.
Interesting, having just listened to the clip, no where are the words “not an option” mentioned. Steele said “from his standpoint he would take 2012 off the table…..”. He never said 2012 was not an option. Much ado about nothing, imho.
Oh no, a politician flip-flopped on an issue! What are we ever to do?! Aaaahh….
TfT holding strong. You go girl! Fighting tooth and nail. To the grave. As blatantly wrong as you are you stand up for da’ man. Talking points included! Niiiiice.

Or how Afghanistan was a “war of necessity,” before it took 3 months to think about…

The only thing she’s missing is her obligatory reference to Glenn Beck. But then again, we already know that Glynnis doesn’t know what she’s talking about, and is simply a hack for the left. There’s a reason why she never comments on the responses to her posts…
Obama’s National Security Chief Of Staff Goes ‘Nucular’

After years of the cringe-worthy pronunciation of nu-cu-lar during the Bush White House, it seemed like we finally had an administration who had a litmus test in staffing their National Security detail - pronounce the word "nuclear." Not so. During an interview to discuss Iran's weapons program with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell today, National Security Chief of Staff Denis McDonough definitely uttered the term Nucular. Gotcha! Right-wing critics eager for payback? Go! Video after the jump.
