Sarah Palin is a rock star and will suck the oxygen out of any mediocre candidate’s message. That goes for Mike Huckabee. He’s a good man but I would never vote for him for President. He is not what this country needs at this time. It was Huckabee’s fault that we got the most corrupt administration in the history of this country. He actually thought McCain would pick him for VP and forced Mitt Romney out. People will remember this for a long time.

OK – I just learned that unlike personal Facebook pages, businesses are accessible by people without a Facebook and apparently Sarah Palin is a business. Obviously this feature hasn’t been well advertised and I still hold that if and when she becomes serious, she’s going to need an actual website.

Ms. Palin’s Facebook entries are often reported, but unless she starts working a real website, it could quickly start doing her less good. To see a Facebook entry, one has to have a Facebook account and the overwhelming majority of people, let alone an even higher percentage of Republican primary voters, don’t. If it weren’t for the media grabbing hold, whenever she says something controversial, hardly anyone would know.

Hmmm… It’s a good thing Democrats never do this. I mean, can you imagine if the White House started a fight with say, FOX News… but still appeared on their network?! How foolish they would look… and how hypocritical you would be… right?!

I think Huckabee is an interesting dark horse for 2012 that might be a threat to Obama. Palin is a joke and will never get the nod. Both are media whores with one of them, naturally, decrying how the media is horrible (while going on every TV show known to man).

I think we haven’t yet seen whomever is going to run in 2012. The media is read to beat up fiercely on anyone who is set to compete against Obama, so keeping a low profile now is probably pretty smart. Time will tell…

Given they are conservatives, the media spotlight will not be kind to them. Couric just called Palin “fringe” not to long ago; NBC hates her, and ABC….well, we all know how Charlie treated Palin in that interview (looking down his nose over his little smart glasses). Now if they were Obama clones, the media would be gushing and all lovey-dovey. No matter who the 2012 R nominee is, slash and burn is what that individual will get. Anyone who goes up against teh One will be slammed by abccbsnbcmsnbccnnnytimeswapoetc.

The point is not about their political abilities or even their political prospects. It is only a look at them as media stars. Obviously, having the media spotlight they each do could help (but could also ultimately hurt) their chance at becoming the 2012 GOP nominee.

Wow, this piece of “journalism” is hard hitting, I must say. And the winner is… a joke to the majority of Americans. Her ability to sell whatever product she will be selling to millions of Americans does not make her a political force just yet, it only proves that she is profitable to some media company. Considering her already dismal performance on both the politcal and media stage, I would not expect her to have any lasting power in either arena.
