MSNBC Debates The Winners And Losers In GOP vs. Democratic Sex Scandals

video

Luke Russert was paneling with David Shuster earlier today, in what may have been the most shameless (and yes, sadly, entertaining) moments on cable news thus far this week. Taking off on a Daily Beast feature ranking the top political sex scandals in recent history, Russert took a decidedly sporty style to analyzing what makes a political sex scandal interesting and who has suffered the most political shame: Democrats or Republicans. Video of the sophomoric and salacious video below:

Yes, we accept the irony in criticizing the very video that we are publishing ourselves. That’s just the way we roll.

While I’m not sure why they did 58, I do have to give the Daily Beast credit for identifying up top that they were only going back 20 years. Of course, a lot of the juicer stuff predates their list and it reaches all the way back to the beginning of the country, but at least they didn’t take the blogger’s way out and call them “of all time”.

They want to know who is the winner and who is the loser?? The american people are the ones losing for electing corruption in both parties.

What’s never said here but is the proverbial elephant in the room (HA! Get it?) is the Republicans claim to hold “family values” and be better than Democrats in the arena of morality.

Both Dems and Repubs are human and they occasionally do very bad things.

The difference is, Democrats never say they are morally superior to Republicans.

The GOP often campaigns on such nonsense. Then they get caught in airport bathrooms, with hookers and “on the Appalaccian trail.”

Pretty hard to “beat” Wide Stance.
