Yet, with all your dislike for Begala you don’t disagree with his conclusions. The one I think most accurate is “(Karl) Rove should sue Burger King. His book, not their fast-food chain, is the true Home of the Whopper.” But then, the entire Bush Administration was the true home of the Whopper.

Agreed, this man, Paul Begala, is unbearable to watch. Whenever I unintentionally here him speak, he ALWAYS reminds me of an unhappy weasel (dressed with a smile).

I’ve always considered Paul Begala a mean-spirited little bitch and one of Bill Clinton’s most unsavory henchman.

Perhaps his most famous quote is: “Stroke of the pen. Law of the Land. Kinda cool.”
He said this in reference to Pres. Clinton signing a mass of executive orders that bypassed Congress, and, to perfectly candid, the will of the American people. While it sounds like something a smart-ass college punk would say, Mr. Begala was actually Counselor to the President.

In the words of Joseph Farah:
“Potentially, the worst abuse of all is the executive order. For 30 years, Americans have lived under the shadow of executive orders that could — as Mr. Begala inelegantly stated it — with “the stroke of a pen,” turn America into just another fascist dictatorship…Such power should not be in the hands of any one man — particularly one as ambitious, driven and morally contemptible as Bill Clinton.”
