Robert Gibbs: The Health Bill Will Soon Be The “Law Of The Land”

video

Well this is an interesting soundbite. Appearing on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made a rather bold claim. When asked if the president now believes if he has the votes to pass health care, Gibbs avowed, “Chris, we’ll have the votes when the House votes within the next week.” He further proclaimed that next week we will be talking about health care reform not as a proposal, but something that “will soon be the law of the land.”

The show first aired this morning at 9AM, but will re-air today at 2PM EDT.

Why haven’t you passed it yet, bobby? According to Nancy, you have the votes needed, so what’s the hold up?

There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing Fox lose again and again.

It is Democrats like me that help their ratings, sadly, but I simply cannot help watching them fail.

    2006 elections = Fail.
2008 elections after MONTHS of innuendo, hyperbole, active campaigning for McCain and outright LIES about Obama? = fail
Bachmann’s pathetic rally to stop the House’s passge of the bill? FAIL

And Fox will also fail to stop this bill.

    And thank god.

And yes, I will be watching Fox to see the fail on the faces of the partisan anchors.

But truth be told, I watch CNN and MSNBC more.

It;s just awesome, however, to see Fox get all keyed up and then lose again and again.

Wow so Fox is behind the opposition to the health care monstrosity?Gee so Fox has somehow brainwashed every single american citizen that does not approve of a pork filled budget busting bill?Must be nice to wrap it all up in one big package of denial.

As for Gibbs, did he say “this is a recording” at the end of his segment?

  • shootfromthehip

Fox is the propaganda arm of the RNC. So, yes, Fox is the public face of the opposition to the “monstrosity,” as you call it.

And yes Fox does a fantastic job of brainwashing. They stay on message every day about health care and how it is “bad” and have been doing so 24/7 for the last 7 months.

Every single day on every single show. Rinse, repeat.

Most Americans don’t have time to research and fact check what Fox “experts” say.

And lord knows Fox rarely if ever tells the other side of the story.

“But truth be told, I watch CNN and MSNBC more”.

Shocking revelation, but truthfully this is evident based your incoherent and unsubstantiated statement’s.

  • Alice Polarbear

shootfromhhip says: sez “Fox is the propaganda arm of the RNC.” And MSNBC, All Barack Channel, National Barack Channel and Central Barack Sheep AREN’T propaganda arms of the DNC? COMEON, Pinhead!! Come up from your mother’s basement and look around you!

If the DemonRats cram Obamacare down our throats now, they will call it “a victory.” A “victory” OVER the American people. that the American people will not tolerate.

If these corrupt and ugly Marxist excuses for humanity cram Obamacare down our throats now, We the People will shove Obamacare right back up their a**es in November and repeal it in January.

Would it be possible for you morons to make up your frickin’ mind? One day Fox is inconsequential because they only reach “cable viewers” (5 million viewers out of 300 million citizens), the next day they are responsible for brainwashing all of America.

    Which is it?

    You crack me up.

  • MichelleF

shootfromthehip, Did you forget your anti-psychotic meds today? Your obsession with Fox is starting ot worry me. You lefties need to start a support group for your obsession.

MichelleF…the really annoying thing is these people base their comments and opinions on nothing more than other peoples comments and opinions. They have never watched Fox, they read what mediamatters, or newshounds or kos says and simply repeat it.

It’s like giving a movie review without ever seeing the movie. Absolutely mindless. And they walk among us.

  • MichelleF

I 100% agree Tim. I guess if that’s how they get through the day, then we should let them have their fun. We will all see who was right on election day.

  • WaterLoo

“It’s like giving a movie review without ever seeing the movie. Absolutely mindless. And they walk among us.”
Hahahah I agree, I’m dying here, hilarious comment. “And they walk among us”.

Im convinced these people don’t even believe what they’re saying (it’s too mindless and incoherent). Is someone paying them to write this stuff?
