I don’t really see it as “shaking down,” and neither did Clinton, Bush 1 or Reagan.

We had reasonable taxes on the top 1% (I doubt that is you?) of earners in America and our economy thrived as a result.

Unless you want to drive down highways that are filled with 62 potholes per square mile, I think it might be your patriotic duty to demand that Exxon at least pay SOME taxes instead of sheltering it away in banks overseas.
