Rollerskating Babies Win Guinness World Record For Online Viewership
The verdict is in: America, and the world, love rollerskating CGI babies far more than any other form of entertainment. Evian’s “Roller Babies” ad has just been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most viewed online advertisement ever, with more than 45 million views worldwide. More than 12 million come from this international version. Somewhere, the E*TRADE baby is quietly swearing under his breath.
Sure, “fair usage” typically requires some sort of commentary, but a) it’s an advertisement, and b) how much can you commentate on roller-skating babies?

Conservative Bloggers Loved The CBO Before They Hated It
The Congressional Budget Office released its preliminary estimate of the Senate health care bill yesterday. Upon the report’s release, conservative bloggers and pundits began trying to discredit the CBO, saying that the office allows Democrats to cook the numbers and its estimates are often not a good indicator of reality. And if the CBO is so unreliable, then these bloggers wouldn’t cite it uncritically when it favors their positions, right?
