Rollerskating Babies Win Guinness World Record For Online Viewership

video

The verdict is in: America, and the world, love rollerskating CGI babies far more than any other form of entertainment. Evian’s “Roller Babies” ad has just been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most viewed online advertisement ever, with more than 45 million views worldwide. More than 12 million come from this international version. Somewhere, the E*TRADE baby is quietly swearing under his breath.

Sure, “fair usage” typically requires some sort of commentary, but a) it’s an advertisement, and b) how much can you commentate on roller-skating babies?
