Yawn. This kid’s 15 minutes of fame are long gone. Funny how you media folks trashed him while he was standing with the Palin’s and now you treat him like a god because he speaks out against the Palin’s.

“Me and Mrs. Palin”? Only in the minds of liberal media is this a story at all.

Are we even sure he has a motive? I don’t remember having a motive for anything until I was well into my twenties. Isn’t it possible he’s just going with the flow and fielding the requests of the Palin-hungry press as they come at him?

I’ve never really figured out the motive of any member of the press for focusing on ANY derivative Sarah Palin topic after November 2nd (and then ESPECIALLY later on, when Sarah proved that she couldn’t handle being the top executive of Alaska, let alone the vice-executive of the United States.)

The Republican party really needs to distance themselves from Palin, but it won’t be easy now that every (R)ed-blazer-wearing den mother has declared their undying love for her. 2010 and 2012 are both coming up quick. There’s a lot of work to be done with the party platform if they’re going to convert the votes of independent Obama-dissenters into congressional seats. The cards are already in play, but the Republican Party MUST play the hand well (read: leave the Bush-era behind, return to small government principles and begin appealing to independents). If they’re smart, they’ll leave Palin’s nightmarish publicity out of the plan to rebuild the party. If, on the other hand, the GOP doesn’t have any up-and-comers that will appeal to independents, the Democrats are going to maintain their hold.

In the meantime, though, looks like Levi’s having fun, despite appearing a little awkward with all the photo-shoot assistants grooming him like he’s going for best-in-show…XD

As for VF, they’re playing the story out with a masterful hand (to the point where my hypocrisy overpowers my ivory-tower comments above), because I can’t wait to read this article. The last time I said that about any Vanity Fair article? Never.

I’ve never really figured out the motive of Levi Johnston. Is it because of revenge, the enjoyment of publicity, desire to advance in a career – for example acting, or just love for easy cash? I remember reading his myspace page describing himself as a redneck.…how far we’ve come.
