Texas Stadium, Home Of Dallas Cowboys, Implodes This Morning
Here’s your weekend fun things-blowing-up video: Texas Stadium, the former home of the Dallas Cowboys, said goodbye in dramatic fashion this morning as it imploded before the eyes of spectators to make way for a future home for Texas football.
Not all was smiles and cell phone cameras, though: Texas Stadium’s general manager for the past quarter of a decade, Bruce Hardy told ESPN he wasn’t taking the news as well as he should have: “My heart went to my toes when that roof over my office laid down.” But not to worry– Texas Stadium’s demise gave way to the massively popular, state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium.
