However, his ticker-tape parade is not commemorated with a plaque on Broadway. I've contacted Downtown Alliance, and they inform me that their researcher can find no evidence of his parade having happened, or at least not in the traditional "ticker-tape" manner. It is a shame that we therefore must remove this honor from his record, even though he deserves it more than some other recipients, as you point out.
