As loyal Mediaite readers know, our own Steve Krakauer keeps tabs on some of the best, worst, and most puzzling cable news chyrons in his Chyron of the Day series.

Over at BuzzFeed, Matt Stopera has put together his own excellent collection of news caption mistakes. Here are a few of our favorites from his list of 21. Please check out the rest at BuzzFeed!

This Mediaite Chyron of the Day could give ‘em a run for their money. Unlike most on BuzzFeed’s list, it appeared on a national, American television network (and less than a month ago!):

Foreign Policy Expert Sarah Palin Offers President Obama Advice On Israel

Thanks to a badly timed 'settlement' announcement during Vice President Joe Biden's recent trip, followed by a strongly worded admonition from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Israel is firmly back in the headlines (alongside, the 'demon pass'). Needless to say, Sarah Palin is not far behind with her take on matters.
