This Happened: New Mexico Man Gets Back At Ex With An Abortion Billboard Ad

Here’s a fun way to ward off potential new girlfriends while reminding your ex why you broke up. Greg Fultz, a 35-year-old man from Alamogordo, New Mexico, was upset after his breakup with his girlfriend. So he did what any jilted lover might do: He erected a billboard broadcasting his ex’s abortion. The sign, which was sponsored by GEFNET website hosting for the Coalition About Needed Information, features a picture of Fultz at a playground, holding the outline of an infant. The accompanying text reads “This Would Have Been A Picture Of My 2-Month Old Baby If The Mother Had Decided To Not KILL Our Child!”

His ex is now attempting to sue Fultz over the billboard, claiming that it violates her privacy and constitutes harassment. Fultz’s lawyer, however, maintains that the billboard, while in poor taste, is simply an expression of his client’s right to free speech. In fact, his lawyer is even attempting to draw on an earlier decision protecting members of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church’s right to protest events like military funerals.

The woman’s friends are adding an additional wrinkle to the story, claiming she had a miscarriage, not an abortion.

And to think I was pissed when my ex dissed me on LiveJournal.

“Did what any jilted lover would do: Erected a billboard…” LMAO!

What’s more offensive? Killing a fetus or putting up a billboard about it?

  • tatboy

The billboard does not mention her… just “the mother”. If it had her name on it then she might have a slim shot. But legally speaking she can’t do much but be thankful she’s not with him anymore and has NOTHING connecting her to him forever…. like a child. And sence all medical records are private (see HIPPA) her friends (and he) can say whatever they want. Only 1 person knows the truth.

At least the kid won’t have to grow up with this piece of garbage for a father.

  • http://www.harropson.com WHarropson

Hint, Next time marry the woman first
Wrong as her decisions were beginning with hooking up with you
Imagining you as the father may have pushed her over the edge
I’m not defending her, but extortion makes a father too creepy to bear.

Two things wrong with your statement:

    1. We have no evidence that she had an abortion. It could have very well had been a miscarriage, like her friends are claiming.

    2. What you are describing is a partial birth abortion, which is illegal in the state of New Mexico.

to Lonestar 77, of course it is way more offensive to murder (abortion) than it is to talk about it. There are plenty of pro-life people in Texas I want others to know. Good for Stephen Hogan, yep he can’t do anything (the fetus)
There should be a picture of that up there for all to see, even if she had a miscarriage, which I doubt.

Absolutely. That’s what I said. She’s probably thanking herself everyday for making that decision….if she did in fact have an abortion which has never been verified.

I don’t see the problem here. Her right to choose was not violated, his right to be pissed off was exercised. Everyone’s freedoms protected!

On a more serious note, it would be wise for those people (especially women) who have never suffered the loss of a potential child when the mother went ahead and aborted it without even consulting the father to curb their comments. A woman has this right, but it does not make it proper. Men do suffer when this happens.

#2 is wrong. A fetus is torn apart in a standard 2nd trimester abortion. What makes it “partial birth” is WHERE the dismemberment is carried out.

Hey, Chris, from a woman, WHO CARES?
I think it’s wise for hypocritical males to shut the hell up.

  • jeanieq

He looks like an unattractive woman. I thought it was a photo of a 50 something overweight woman. I can see why he’s mad, chances it’s not going to be easy to find another woman willing to sleep with him again.

How about, having a miscarriage and having a self-righteous male pass judgement? Never mind what women do with their bodies, honey, this isn’t Nazi Germany, women have RIGHTS, get it? It isn’t exactly women failing their children now, is it?

I wouldn’t defend the lousy way American males treat their women. She didn’t do anything wrong.

  • MerryMarjie

First of all: Alamogordo, N.M. — nothing else to say there.

Secondly: Picture of Greg Fultz — the woman made the right decision, absolutely.

  • Darklady

Not mentioned in the article is the fact that the woman gave this sanctimonious asshole an ultimatum: Marry me or I won’t carry the pregnancy to term.

    Not an entirely unreasonable condition.

    He refused.

She traveled and came home not pregnant. She and her friends say she miscarried while traveling. Whether that’s what happened or not, she was willing to carry the pregnancy to term, but she wanted to do so as a married woman.

What is with these fake moralists who cry crocodile tears over abortion but refuse to marry the mother of their child when she’s willing to marry them?

  • Ajolily

    Biscuit said:

That is exactly what it is. As far as this story her friends could be telling the truth and it was a miscarriage. The motives of a man who would be so vengeful as to take out a billboard are suspect. He may well want to hurt her and get back at her for the break up not the loss of the child. I also don’t agree she has no case. While the bill board said the woman and didn’t identify her those in her community (where the billboard is placed) know it is her. I think and I am not knowledgeable on the law so take it as you will, that all she has to do is prove some real damage to herself.

    @Biscuit: Psst…only women’s rights are “improper.”

First off she should be glad he is gone and second how does he know she had an abortion and NOT a miscarriage? And how would he feel if he was impotent and she did a billboard mocking his not being able to get an erection? Thats free speech as well.

  • Lou Ganis

OMG! Somebody had sex with that guy?! I’ll bet she was a beaut! I can’t imagine being that hard-up.

  • am_underground

Good for him, time men started standing up for their rights. She was stupid enough to have sex and not demand protection then, and if they were in a relationship and not a one night stand, he has every right to have a say in his DNA.

If men don’t start standing up for their rights. The Feds and the PW men in it, have done everything in it’s power to make men nothing but wimps in this country with affirmative action for women and minorities. It ok for us to go to war and die, protect your home and family but by god stand up for your unborn child and you’re a horrid MAN, according to most women sites and of course the liberal left blogs such as this one.

We need more men of this caliper, not the kind of pretty boys on TV or in film acting all macho then go out in public and stand up for only women’s right. Grow a set men and stop trying to be what the left wants you to be, gay.

And he was stupid enought to have sex and not demand they use protection. Both partners are equally responsible when it comes to having sex. It’s not one sided, or is that something you weren’t aware of?

By the by, just in case you haven’t noticed, there’s a lot of women who go to war and die for our county. There’s also a lot of women who protect our homes and family daily.

Do us a favor and go back to your imaginary bubble land where living in reality doesn’t exist. There’s enough of your kind here already.

  • scorpion7

That’s a clever move on his part and one I would like to see more often. So many women use abortion as the only form of birth control. They both should of used protection….him so he would nt catch any bugs from her.
There is something to be said about Men’s Right’s being trampled on in this screwed-up country. The funniest thing(except for the fact the humans are being killed) is how enlightened minorities get when planned parenthood moves into their slum neighborhoods with a new ‘bortion kliniks’. I do feel women have the right to do what they want with their body , however, in the end, who will have control of their soul….on judgement day. Oh’ I forgot, there is no greater power except at the AA meeeitng.

If your pro life then all of it is brutal, thats why the exaggeration with no concern about which state has which law. Even if it was legal in New Mexico I know it would have been unlikely this was the procedure needed. Doesn’t matter, I was making a point about how ridiculous abortion is.

And obviously if the whole thing is a lie then nothing applies. But i think thats a bit of a stretch. I mean him spending money on a billboard and all for something that didn’t happen. Never know I guess.

  • Great-Grandmother

How fortunate this woman isn’t going to have a child with this man’s DNA and have a lifelong connection with him. Abortion or miscarriage. Thank God.

Women do have the final say in deciding, “Yes”, or “No” to exposing their bodies and, indeed, their entire life, to the physical, emotional, and financial risks and burdens of pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, child nurturing and child rearing. Thank God.

Any man opposed to having a woman he impregnates terminate HER pregnancy should be smarter in meeting his needs and not deposit his ‘precious seed’ in a woman who may become pregnant. DUH!

These men should decide to have sexual intercourse with and only deposit their ‘valuable sperm’ in women who are sterile and can’t get pregnant. Again, DUH!

Even these selfish, arrogant male creeps, unfortunately, can successfully locate sterile women who will be receptive to allowing them to wallow her.

Men, ‘Man-up’ to the facts: if you want to be a father, find a woman receptive to bearing a child for you. You cannot impregnate a woman and, after the fact, demand and insist she bear a child. That determination is solely hers.
