Hey Tommy Christopher… Where is your “FNC’s ‘White House Bans Fox News’ Story Is Starting To Unravel” story… I leave for a few hours, come back ready to comment on the story and it’s just banished… No explanation or info as to why it was pull with nothing but a whisper.. Do u guys have editors or is it a free for all…????

So FoxNews is the bad guy.. Yet you pull a story like it never happen… Are you just trying to get invited to the next WH powow with Olberman… Can’t wait for next time this site gets a good story… I guess I better start cacheing any story I read here… Since smear & DELETE is the rule of the day at Mediaite… Sounds like Mediaite is not a real news organization…

Denies what part of the story?

That Fox News was banned”

That bureau chiefs of the other major networks banded together to thwart the White House”?

It’s cracking me up that Barry tries to bully FoxNews and others in the MSM and fails, you have have liberals blaming FoxNews for actually reporting on it as if it’s a bad thing! Are you kidding? More quotes are coming out and will continue to come out disproving Fox’s self serving misrepresentation of what actually happened, and by the time the full story is known we’ll have moved on to the next faux outrage, creating their own reality while others are figuring out the last move, classic Rove/Ailes move.

The petard remains semi-drawn in the event Rove-Speak doesn’t carry the day once more, but more likely plausible deniability will take over in the end and we’ll move on.

The spin language of the Treasury Dept. jumped right out at me. For instance, they say there was ‘no plot’ to exclude Fox News. Notice they don’t say there was ‘no effort’ to exclude Fox News. And what does using the word ‘plot’ do for their argument? Tries to shift the thought of the reader to ‘see, all of those crazy right wingers are always looking for a conspiracy plot, but nothing to see here.’ Looks like it worked like a dream on the Obama kool-aid drinkers who are the first commenters on here. Really — if you believe Fox would run with a story that could be and would be so very quickly attacked by the other news stations in the pool and numerous print media outlets that would jump at the chance attack Fox and to take Obama’s side, then you are frighteningly out of touch with reality.

Yeap… The rest of the networks don’t give a damn about FoxNews or principles… They’ll keep doing this till their bailout checks get sign on the dotted line… They are not cheap whores.. They are Pro’s…

“Treasury Department ” didn’t exclude FoxNews… The WH did… Or if u want a name, Rahm Emanuel did… I expect FoxNews to get kicked off the WH plane next… Even if it’s their turn on the pool…

“CBS Evening News ran a segment on this story tonight” – See u got to wait for the best time to have a story that’s bad for your guy… I am impress CBS waited till this evening… I was betting on them waiting for their Early, Early morning shows to have any part of the story… On Saturday… And drop it right after that…

If W would of done this to any of the pool reporters… They would of broken programing to cry and beat their chest of how they are under attack and that this is war from the WH against the whole of the media… Anybody want to bet that this site will have more stories about this abuse of power then the rest of the newspapers combine… Any takers…

Like Glenn said today, pay attention to when Rahm Emanuel said that it is important that CNN and other networks not follow Fox’s lead. Was this a threat by the Administration to use the “Al Capone” bat if other networks follow Fox’s lead?! The American people really wanted Obama to succeed, but while you can take the man out of Chicago, you just can’t take Chicago out of him. Anyone watched The Untouchables lately?
