Trump Tweets He’d ‘Still Beat Hillary’ in Popular Vote (Which He Lost)

President Donald Trump declared that “the election is over” last week, but apparently, its not so far in the past that he’s going to stop tweeting about how he supposedly won the popular vote.
On Sunday, ABC News and Washington Post poll released a joint poll which found that his approval rating stands at 42 percent. The poll found that a slight majority of people think the president is a strong leader, and more of Trump’s base would vote for him again compared to those who supported Hillary Clinton.
Trump regularly trashes polls, including those from ABC, when they do not show him in a positive light. Nonetheless, Trump had this to say on Twitter.
New polls out today are very good considering that much of the media is FAKE and almost always negative. Would still beat Hillary in …..

Ever since the election ended, Trump has contested the notion that he lost the popular vote to Clinton by approximately 3 million votes. Trump has claimed he could’ve won the popular vote if he really wanted to, and that the only reason he lost it was because millions of people illegally voted against him.
Trump previously promised an investigation into voter fraud despite the fact that his claim remains largely unsubstantiated.
