What race are the people involved in this shootout? I can’t tell from the video. Also why are all videos posted on Mediaite so shaky?

Philadelphia used to have a similar event call Greek Picnic. Started out as adult, mature African American fraternity brothers meeting, planning and preparing to add something to society. Then the knuckleheads took over and destroyed the weekend event. The city then canceled any connection to Greek Picnic weekend because of the shootings and violence. Kicked the event out completely. Because of the knuckleheads.

The more mature African American event takes place this month and it’s called Odunde. Happens every year and it’s family oriented, food, vendors selling food, gospel concerts, jazz concerts. Then I still think the city does Unity Day every summer. Great event with the same focus.

What am I saying? That all parts of society have their low end. Period. And you do what what’s necessary to eliminate such events that draw such an element. So South Beach has to shut it down and not let it happen just as Philadelphia did with Greek Picnic.

Oh and for those of you that think this is “urban” problem which of course is par for that course which most readers who comment, spend time at a New York Jets game in the upper lever, a Philadelphia Eagles game in the upper level or go to a hockey game. Never think you don’t have your own “urban” issues as well.

We had the same garbage here in Atlanta called Freaknik – murders, stabbings, robberies, rapes on the sidewalks, and just a real crapfest. Thankfully Atlanta stopped this a while back. Most “celebrations” that have “freak” or “urban” in the name can NEVER be much good.
