Because despite the attempts of the media to protect him, Obama isn't faring very well of late. I will note that CBS atually had a decent story on-line about how Obama plays favorites on who he supports after making racially insensitive comments and who he doesn't. Selective outrage for sure. Well, when CBS has the President approval ratings at 46% — clearly something is wrong with their press strategy. It seems like he's having too much fun (and the reporters are too), and not asking serious questions anymore... just having one big gab and jokefest.
