Your Moment Of Glenn: ‘It’s Like The Government Is Roman Polanski…’
To begin, a side note: My big takeaway from the Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Palin interview was that I wish Oprah would have shown a tiny bit of the sort of ferocity Glenn Beck routinely shows towards his subjects (sans the chalkboard) towards Palin than she did (she showed none). Maybe she needed a purple squad!
Today, Beck went purple over SEIU (The Service Employees International Union) including inviting “the purple shirt people” to the show to make sense of the health care bill, because without the purple shirt the health care bill would not be 2,000 pages long (as opposed to the Constitution, which is only 17 pages long and runs the entire country). Beck’s analogy of the country vs. the health care bill? It’s a doozy (video below):
We’re the young girl saying ‘no, no help me,’ and the government is Roman Polanski. In the end I think we’re all going to be cowering in France.

And yet, no mention in your article questioning why there are still NO charges against the SIEU thugs who beat up Gladney(sp). Interesting spin — has Glynnis ever been invited to be on the O’Reilly factor?
Re the Oprah/Palin interview and your “wish” — did you “wish” the same when she interviewed the Obama’s? Or were those softballs just fine for you?
Didn’t the girl move to Hawaii and it was Polanski who cowered in France?
(To quote Beck; “Don’t think about it too much because it doesn’t make sense.”)
Here’s my challenge to all in the media. We know that Beck is an attention whore, so for one week I challenge you to ignore him. Oh sure, he’ll do what he can to get you to pay attention including a suicide attempt in which he will be saved by his crew at the last second. Now that’s entertainment folks!! Jeez, is he a dumb ass.
NewsBusters: Beck Rejects ‘South Park’ Criticism about Questioning Government Officials

Yeah, it’s about time somebody got tough on Sarah Palin. You go, Glynnis.
It was vintage Glenn Beck today. Great show, as usual. Glenn, please keep after the connection between the corrupt Union Thug, Andy Stern and the POTUS. They are thicker than fleas on a dog’s back and the CORRUPTION is rampant within this administration! Pay for Play got the Governor of Illinois fired and put under investigation. It seems to be working well for the SEIU Union who owns Barack Hussein Obama after forking over 60-100 million bucks for his campaign. Now they are ready for their payback and the bogus Health Care Bill is their ticket to BILLIONS. INVESTIGATE!!
I agree, it was VINTAGE Glenn BECK toDAY, but FOR different REASONS! SEIU is the EVIL twin of ACORN!!!
Hey, I can make analogies too:
Glenn Beck is like Roman Polanski. Rhetorically intoxicating feeble-minded Americans, rubbing his hands and immorally groping political discourse.

Yeah, but the “enlightened” Hollywood (Liberal) elite don’t defend Beck… so the analogy breaks down.
We must surely thank our collective God (s) for the likes of Glenn Beck & his supporters. For thrusting upon them great intelligence, insight, patriotism, guts, raw knowledge, courage, and good, decent, Christian family values needed to become extraordinary human beings. They are everything that is good and honest and righteous within the world. Look about you – gaze at the state of the nation/world. Be proud.
Of course it hurts – you’ve been being screwed by an elephant for 20 of the last 28 years.
The Seven Best (Or, Somewhat Memorable) Moments Of The Jay Leno Show

After 95 episodes, the epic failure known as The Jay Leno Show airs its final episode tonight. Of course, Leno himself will be back after the Olympics, comfortably at 11:35pm all over again. Which was pretty much the problem to begin with - the 10pm offering started as a similar product to the Tonight Show, and only became more like the old format as time went on.
