If Beck hosted SNL it would be the highest rated show they have ever had. IMO, SNL has been a snoozefest for years! Maybe Glenn could teach them something about real entertainment and most importantly, “timing.”

I’m not calling NBC enemy territory, but after seeing Beck’s statements about the 30 Rock building where SNL is filmed at, it would seem to me that Beck considers it enemy territory.

Glenn Beck totally ROCKS! He goes from poking fun at the White House to driving his points home at the chalkboard in a mocking comedy routine but one knows Beck is dead serious. He’s a genius and you can rest assured this White House is going to rue the day they chose to call out Glenn and Fox News. I can hear them whimpering “Uncle” any day now. Keep up the good work, Glenn. We are behind you 100%! Hold their jack boots to the fire!

I’m not holding my breath. Doing jokes like this from the safety of Fox News or his radio show is one thing, venturing into “enemy territory” is something completely different. Last time I saw Beck in an environment where he wasn’t completely in control, (which was his The View interview,) it didn’t necessarily go well for him, and he spent his next show doing damage control. If he’s got the capacity to take a joke as well as dish it out, then I’m all for it, I just haven’t seen it yet.

I laughed so hard today when he did the Olbermann impression. Beck is the greatest hour on television. You learn a ton of stuff nobody else is covering and you’re entertained.

Glynnis, I watched Glenn’s The One Thing today because you recommended it… I was laughing and afraid all at the same time. He maid his points, backed them up with video clips, and ended with a frightening “they will drag you to it” conclusion. Thank you, Glynnis, it was far more than brilliant TV.

Quite honestly, it’d probably be a lot of fun. Doesn’t matter what political views you have, its hard to deny that Beck certainly is a good actor.
