Street Cred? Newsweek? Interesting...
And if something is slowing the sales it might be that less than fascinating cover.

Very disappointed with the new Newsweek and I echo what 'oywhatnext' said about the redesign being confusing and non-sensical. Also, a couple of celebrity covers - Michael Jackson and Oprah - doesn't set the tone for a magazine seeking to entice readers with a more thoughtful view of the world; those covers scared off potential buyers and sent mixed signals about the editorial direction of the magazine. When I saw the Michael Jackson cover I was disappointed and didn't open the issue up.

On a more positive note, I do like the redesign of the website - much more readable. But The Economist, Newsweek is not - and not likely to get there anytime soon.

I was happy with the redesign. It's more concise and doesn't split the articles all over the place. Felt a lot like The Economist.

The entire magazine now looks like one "Special Advertising Section" after another. It is totally incohesive and completely lacks character. It is the worst magazine redesign I have ever seen. It seems like there is less content also.
