		<description>Christ said, &quot;those without sin, cast the first stone.&quot;  Christ&#039;s position against revenge and certainly the death penalty had little to do with killing the innocent.  Instead, it was about mercy, and about rising above the eye for an eye philosophy.  And yet, our so called Christian nation does not listen.  

But putting the moral issue aside, the death penalty leads to the death of the innocent.  Our jury system is not perfect, by its very nature it is flawed.  It is a guarantee that innocent people will be put to death in a death penalty regime.  Cameron Willingham&#039;s execution appears to valid this  position.  If this story and other stories like it do not inspire change in this country, nothing will.  

I am pleased that this author is getting the ball rolling.  It should have been done a long time ago.</description>
