Ummm.. what? This CNN Political Ticker headline seems like some kind of joke, but apparently Senator John Ensign of Nevada doesn’t think it was at all ethically sketchy to have an affair with his campaign treasurer, Cindy Hampton, and then hire her unemployed husband as a political consultant as some sort of consolation. (Oh, and don’t forget the $96,000 check Ensign’s father wrote to the Hampton family)
