i’ve heard the Obama = Nixon comparison a lot lately…funny thing though, not from FOX.

Both parties cater to the wealthy. Both lie, both steal and both will do literally anything to win.

I am proudly No Party Affiliation. Fox is just the mirror of MSNBC. They have their audience and they serve it well as does MSNBC, et al.

Phisch’s point is spot on. Conservatives have one TV news outlet to turn to. Liberals have the rest. That is a simple fact and the reason for Fox’s success.

Such short-sighted selective CRAP! Fox is biased? Hannity and Beck openly present themselves as conservatives. Don’t like it? Switch back to Olbermann and .Maddow.

Q: Why is that liberals can only name-call and piss and moan about Fox? A: They can dispute the FACTS reported on Fox.

According to (consistent) Gallup polling, 40% of the U.S. consider themselves conservative. That 40% has ONE television network to turn to…Fox. Who can sanely dispute that ABC, CBS, NBC/MSNBC, CNN/HLN lean left? (Free Clue: That’s why Obama Inc. won’t attack them.)

The richest people in the U.S. are in fact Democrat. Who’d a thunk it? It’s increasingly apparent that the Democrat party is comprised almost exclusively of guilt ridden rich people–who demand that others redistribute THEIR wealth–and poor people (the base) who know no way of life other than a monthly government check.

Yup… no rich and powerful supporters in the Democratic party. Nuh-uh. Not a single one. No special interests either.

Oy-vey. The only thing sadder than the people who say that one party is this different than the other… is the people who believe them.

Mr. Frank is obviously right on both points, but his book is brilliant. How poor people vote against their own self interests is tragically fascinating.

The idea the Republican Party has looked out for anyone other than the rich and powerful the last hundred years is utterly ludicrous.
